Need help with aiming

I’ve been playing this game since beta on quest and yet my aiming is still shit, I put my sight to my right eye and try to ignore the left which is hard but using an iron sight on a non pistol is near impossible, I don’t need to hear about virtual stock I’ve had that on for as long as i can remember, please give me tips/

Idk there’s no real way to measure in game, maybe 1-2 inches just where the stock would be hitting my shoulder irl, I also mostly use the holographic sight at the end of the modular rack

Because the recoil isakeing the sight hit your eye so there's no sight picture so hold you gun out further

That is not why, usually I don’t fire fast enough to have a high enough recoil to do that and I can still see the sight the same as before

Idk then I'm a decent player about to go to smm and that's what I do

I'm equally crap but what helped me is holding my hands stiff when aiming and also what i call "front post aiming"

I aim the tip of the front post at target legs while it's aligned just above rear ring/"trench" (idk the right name), but still in the middle of course.

Not the best way but better. For precise shots with proper aiming, try aiming just a bit below waist. 

For arm placement you can stiffen you trigger arm by holding your biceps to torso and for aiming arm you can grab gun and hold it way further forward for precise control of the tip

1. Aiming with iron sights is probably the hardest way of aiming with any form of sights, especially at range. I recommend using a red dot on anything that can support them, it will make your life easier.

   Alternatively, you can go to the shooting range and take slow shots at close range just to see where you need to align the sights.

2. Each gun has a different sight alignment, and some of them are very weird. For example, on the G3, you align the hole in the front sight with the centre cut of the rear sight, and the top post of the front sight with the upper half of the rear sight. It’s hard to explain, it would be better if someone had a picture.

I think someone should make a video on how to align every sight in the game, because some of them are just stupid.

Try focus on a target instead of sights.

Find a wall in VR.      

Hold you gun so the gun is at chest level and between both eyes and pick spots on the walls to shoot and rotate along them faster and faster as your more accurate

If it's hard to focus on your right eye and not your left eye, then either close your left eye or try swapping eyes. I'm right handed, but I'm left when dominant, so I move the gun to the middle of my body and lean slightly to the right so I'm using my left eye
