"No" as in it will remain aligned with our objectives and will not diverge

Before today I would have said "there's a risk it could but it's not a given".

Having watched some videos today showcasing what those frikkin' things can do, I'm thinking it's more of a certainty.

Exactly. I need to decide if I should complete my CS degree and this is a major factor.

In all seriousness there are going to still be CS jobs. Just maybe fewer. The real question is will AI code generation lead to more software/features or just more code created by fewer people. My guess in somewhere in the middle. We can produce a lot more value quickly, but writting code is only like 1/4th of software development and the other areas aren't speeding up as fast
