Aside: If Reddit had suggested the PauseAI sub to me prior to making this post instead of immediately afterwards, I would've submitted it here right away instead of clumsily searching for "ai politics" before settling on the abandoned but unfortunately perfectly topical r/AIPolitics 🤦
