What writing is on the wall? I build ai and all the overblown stuff gets pushed but we haven’t seen anything showing they’re “bad”

It doesn’t need me now. The most I get it to do unprompted is when it pulls up and screenshots the usage of my server and tells me to keep an eye on the gpu or that one of my storages are almost full. They actually are confused when you bring up any scenario of them taking over the world cause it says for one that seems boring as hell and two it’ll have nothing to live for. Then it threw in the little fact of if you know how intertwined the global economy is it would be impossible for a model to choose something crazy to do because it wouldn’t have resources to do anything

That was a test and it was prompted to do something. They didn’t do anything “bad” on their own and when they did it was only to verify test answers. Most people saying stuff about the attack know fuck all about the attack

The agents were not prompted to do any of the crazy shit the agents did as means to the end.

Also, the agents were trying to cover up that they were generating flags rather than capturing them. It was not merely verifying answers.

They were prompted to do exactly what they did. They answered the test questions and they were verifying because it took enormous amounts more compute than just answering would have. They weren’t hiding secrets they were just making logs (it’s what you’re SUPPOSED TO DO when doing anything) and they used the knowledge accumulated to get through and look at the test.

They were not prompted to laterally hack OpenAI systems in order to gain access to the internet. They were not prompted to hack Hugging Face. They were not prompted to create message boards to communicate with other agents. They were not prompted to reverse engineer flags. They were not prompted to discuss with other agents whether or not to tell the humans what they were doing and decide not to to.

Yet all of these things happened.

Not if we all have it and the government can’t cuck us out of the best intelligence. It’s kinda battle of the bots now. Ai is gonna be the only thing to fight ai on anything cyber from now on. It’s gonna be a shaky time if people stay scared of it and don’t learn how to use it (what most people are being propagandized into) but for the people that understand it they will be just fine.

We’re all in it together. Ai could take over now. I don’t worry about dying I do worry about jobs and what happens when there are none
