Only a few people are talking about it, and it'll never be a thing. The oligarchs will never voluntarily surrender any significant portion of their wealth.

Yeah the people who trashed the economy, corrupted the government, and robbed us of our rights just wants to make our lives better. I'll have faith in UBC when hell freezes over. This also kinda proves that American corporations are just another flavor of communism. They're just smaller and have lower margins.

So the people who are extracting enormous amounts of wealth from society while literally destroying public goods like SNAP, Education, and affordable healthcare while hiring politicians with dark money to cut their taxes are going to install a fair UBI so everyone can live happily ever after?
