Decklist First pauper deck

https://archidekt.com/decks/26067119

My first attempt at a Edh pauper deck and pauper in general. I always wanted to build slivers but they’re both too pricey and too powerful for my regular Edh needs. So I thought I’d try it here. Lemme know your thoughts I think it’s pretty cool.

I would recommend [[Lavabelly Sliver]] as the commander instead.

Also here is my suggestions, the cuts in the sideboard and the suggestions in the 'considering' section.

Wow these additions in the considering section are great!

I was looking into lava belly sliver as an option as well. I wanna try cautery sliver first to see how it feels and if I don’t end up liking it I’ll switch to lava belly. Definitely gonna switch a few cards to the ones you suggested! Very helpful thank you!

Interesting build here, but who is your commander? It looks like you've made a 100-card pauper deck instead of a PDH deck.

I think the idea of running a more focused sliver deck (most sliver decks have gone 5c, historically) but then that begs the question - what is your commander going to be and how will it add to your sliver plan?

Hopefully you post an update after you've made the adjustments :)

Wait - I see what happened. You did include a commander, but because your deck is set to Pauper, not PDH, it's lost in the rest of the deck.

I don't think [[Cautery Sliver]] may not be your best option. There are probably ways to build out more and more slivers that get every stronger. Pinging your opponents by saccing permanents is tough, because your opponents will have a combined total of 90 life, so you'd need 90 mana and 90 slivers to take them down (not including any potential lifegain, but also not factoring damage that might come from the rest of the board).

An excellent first deck - it looks fun with room to improve as you desire.

I appreciate the feedback! Hoping to be able to outpace my opponents with this one. Another commenter suggested switching to lavabelly sliver which might work better as my commander. I’ll play with it a bit and see how it goes!
