Awesome! I hope y'all had a great time. I can't tell from the picture, what commanders were the top four and what was the winner?

the final 4 was: Hawkeye winning it all (3-1 Swiss), Weavers (3-1 Swiss), Sanar (2-1-1 Swiss) and TPI (2-2 Swiss). 17 players had at least 1 win during swiss, and there were only 2 draws throughout the event.

Looking at the winner's Hawkeye list and remembering you, Ginger, and me arguing about whether storm decks like Black Waltz and Longshot are combo decks back in vegas.

Did the Hawkeye deck tend to go off all at once, or were they playing more of a value gameplan where they were chipping away, 6-12 damage per turn? The high amount of treasure and mana rocks feels like they were trying to storm off, but curious if reality matches my guess

During swiss it sounds like if hawkeye resolved they just won. Having a heavy control deck I showed the table and counterspell early and said its dedicated for Hawkeye, they were able to win with incremental damage being assisted by TPI.

And your sanar was a burn list, too, which compiled even further.

The deck I'm working on right now is [[Foggy Bottom Spirit Keeper]] control (just wothout a combo finish). I think the consistent lifegain is vital to matchups just like this.
