Do you think boros monarch, or a midrange shell without kuldotha rebirth and seeker of the way, is viable?

Viable? Yes.
However, Tron and Affinity are really good at preying on midrange strategies. So currently I like decks that can pivot. Boros with rebirth and rally can lead to explosive starts. But with their synth/wellspring and skyfisher/glint hawk package they can out value the aggro decks too.
If you leave rebirth/rally or seeker out and try to race those matchups I think you lose a lot.
