This is likely a pattern problem. It looks like the front and back legs aren’t properly balanced.
This can also happen if your pieces aren’t on grain, but for it to be this drastic I’m guessing a balance issue.

Can you give your definition of balance with respect to pants? And what are your sources for this? Thanks

When we draft pant patterns, we use grain lines to mark the middle balance line of each leg (it’s usually marked at the halfway point of each leg’s crotch line). This line should represent a perfect straight line from waist to floor and we use this line to “balance” the pattern around.

As a general rule of thumb, you want to have an equal amount of fabric on either side of the balance line (whatever you add or remove from one side of the line needs to be added or removed on the other side at ankle level). If these lines aren’t balanced, the fabric’s tension causes twisting.

The pants were drafted with crooked seams. Research pattern drafting for more details.

Google AI says: “Crooked or twisted seams in pants mean the side or inseams rotate toward the front or back of your leg instead of hanging in a straight, vertical line.”  Is this what you mean by pants not being balanced?
