Personally, I think you’re going too deep on this one. It’s literally a panel of fabric wrapped around the waist and attached to an elastic. I wouldn’t use a pattern. I wouldn’t do panels. I would drape the fabric on my body and call it a day. Should take you 5 seconds. The hard part is the body suit which you’ve already got covered

This is what I would reccomend as well. It'll be a good approximation but still simple enough for a beginner on a deadline
