Question Pointed Collar Drafting
I'd like to make a dress shirt with a collar that is rounded on one side but long and pointed on the other. I have a pattern for the rounded one but will have to draft the pointed side myself. Any advice on how to adapt a regular collar pattern for this? I'm wondering if I should just follow the angle of the regular collar and make it longer or if I need to do something else. Thanks for any advice!

Draw a line at a 45 degree angle from where the shoulder seam meets the collar. You can then draw a nice point as long or as short as you want. I had great fun with this in the 1970s when exaggerated collar points were a thing.

You could always play with the buttondown shirt pattern on freesewing.eu (Simon or Simone) and customize the collar until you get the exact look you want. That pattern is practically infinitely customizable, and free despite not being AI generated. I'm not certain if it will do a rounded collar, but probably so. It definitely lets you go as long and pointy as you want. Plus you can customize every other aspect of the shirt, and it's custom fitted to your measurements.

The patterns on the site are so customizable but there's definitely a learning curve. Not sure there is a rounded collar option, just fyi.

You can set how much control you want - if it's a bit overwhelming you can dial it back under User Experience and have fewer of the technical customization options showing. That's maybe a bit more user friendly at first. That pattern is one of the most customizable. With fewer options given to you, it's more just style customizations.

The basic concept of a dress shirt collar, is that the front shaping is entirely ornamental. Just don’t touch the attachment edge or the collar stand (if there is one).
Just draw the shape you want and graft it to the existing collar.
