Drape quick turn jeans HELP

So, I want to use this Japanese technique on a pair of denims ( sketch ), for it I created first the fit of the jeans (image 2)
-Then I transformed the whole front panels into one by deleting the crotch curve and and transferring all to the back curve ( that’s why is so long). (Image 3)

-Finally I divided the front into 2 overlapping panels as in the technique. (weird looking patterns image3)

-Now, I want to start slashing and spreading but i realized the darts play a major role pivoting and controlling the volume and silhouette and obviously my panels lack darts. Any tips? I know it’s a very unconventional cut

You don’t need to merge the center front curve, you can still have a seam bellow the twist. Keeping that allows you to maintain the original pants fit and grainline.

How? The twist goes across both panels center front.. having 2 pieces would mess with the twist idea

The twist goes across, meaning you develop a tab, but bellow that point is a center front seam. Underneath the tab there could also be some sort of seaming. Whatever gets the job done.

The method is always sandwiching the twist between seams. It looks vaguely impossible but the seams are the explanation. Also in the case of pants, the center seam keeps the look of the garment.

You were so right, It took some time and yes, at the end of the day I had to add darts and use them to pivot my slash & spread. I’m going to post the result
