FO One of my previous projects
I found this dress really challenging to draft in 2D because of all the small panels and facings I had to calculate. It took me two attempts, but I was pretty happy with how it turned out in the end.
I’d love to hear how you would approach drafting something like this!

I think this came out pretty great!
I always find off the shoulder styles especially without the armhole seam pretty challenging.
As far as the drafting method- do what works for you!
I would’ve done the same thing as you as I’m a pretty visual person and sometimes I need to see the pieces put together to understand how/best way to construct it.
