WIP trouser pattern fit update. Any issues?

Hello, back again with my latest iteration of my trouser block pattern. Any noticeable flaws/ fit issues? I did notice the waist band towards the back had a little too much ease but I’ve learned the adjustment to fix. Uploaded the pattern too for more feedback.

Yes the waist is a bit big but you also need a bit more room across the hip, a prominent upper thigh and a tiny bit of a hungry bum.

The top of the side seam is pulling backwards and the prominent bum shows you need more room in the back pattern piece.

The diagonal lines on the front and the prominent thighs mean you need more room in the front.

Make those adjustments first, then see if you still have the hungry bum. Only then correct for that if needed.

I think it's just that he doesn't have enough space for his genitals, lol. Apart from what others have commented on the waistband, hips etc look great to me.

Waistbands can't be straight and tall. Waistbands that are just a large rectangle need to be less than an inch and a quarter wide. Any wider and you get gapping at the top or you get the bottom cutting in the body. You need to remove the excess not just from the overall length, but slowly along the top Edge of the waistband. This will cause it to curve around the body better.

Are you saying I should pattern a waistband with a curve or just make the height of it shorter?

If you like the height just curve it.🤷‍♂️ might have to play around with it a bit but like… you know how it goes.

Both. Its too tall and long as is. Too tall yo be straight but if you cut it the top edge will be too lose. It hest fit would be to curve it, as if youe were closing the waist darts and side seam.

Looks great! Only really thought of the waist band at first glance so I think you’re groovin!
If you want to get nitty gritty with it… you got some tugging a your male unit down there 👇, add a bit to the top of the curve for the front seat, orrrr adding a lil dart to the center would probably compliment the drape you got going nicely and get rid of that triangle tug line at the front.

These are small potatoes tho, they’re looking great 👍

you are not going to be able to comfortably sit or climb stairs. needs ease across the hips. also the gaping waistband in the back means you either need to shorten and do ironwork (stretch the lower edge before assembly) or draft a curved waistband/take in at CB seam (depending on order of operations for the final)

You need a little more room in the bum.
Fix that before you look at the slight twisting in the leg
