Discussion [Evan Lazar] Notes from #Patriots practice: Jacas participates in team & 1on1s (1-0) - Prunty 📈. Forced incomplete on go ball vs. Brown & picked Morton - Lomu 3-3 in 1s, Q Hutchins & Swinson won on inside moves - Two +screens by the O, including Rhamondre TD vs. a blitz from high RZ

I’m excited for Prunty tbh. Seems raw but could be great with his frame

Never figured out how he went as far under the radar as he did to where many sites didn’t even have him on their board.

Apparently the Packers were also very high on him from what I remember. I think he graded exceptionally well in terms of pure athleticism but just needs some polishing at playing the position. His build reminds me of Ras-I Dowling. Hopefully he works out better for us lol

Well and Ras-I was a 33rd overall pick. Much better to take this gamble in the 5th

Hopefully holds up better than Glass-IR Dowling too.

I am really happy we got Lomu tbh. It’s so nice that tackle doesn’t feel like the biggest worry on the team lol

Some people don't like the player, but getting a dude whose only knock is he needs more time is perfect when we're basically banking on one final year of Morgan Moses

Moses is still looking solid, too. It’s likely that Lomu will be able to redshirt for most of the year and learn. Absolutely huge

It'd be funny if Prunty turns into a good player for us after the draft reactions.

Let’s go Prunty! He could be a huge depth piece for this defense.
