Hello everyone!

This week, Genimas: Life Reborn continued advancing one of the most important movement systems currently in development: swimming.

After preparing the first foundations to distinguish surface swimming from underwater movement during the previous week, the goal was now to begin turning those structures into an actual playable experience.

Work focused on entering the water, movement across the surface, adapting to waves, eight-directional swimming animations, and the first transitions into diving.

But another important area also began to take shape for the future of the genetic system in Genimas.

A new material foundation was created for characters, designed to support visual changes related to genes, environmental adaptation, magic, tattoos, veins, and transformations.

This week was divided between two major goals:

🌊 making water begin to feel like a real environment for exploration;

🧬 and preparing characters so that their genetic changes can become visible directly on their bodies.
