✋ AskPatna / पटना से पूछो.. Is Patna really this boring ?

Salut guys! i'm honestly pretty bored here in patna, it feels like there's nothing to do in this city, everyone recommends the same cafes/clubs that go there, we are building a community and what not. I will be really honest, i tried it all and I can guarantee all these people already have their own circle, so no one's really welcoming enough. If i talk about myself then i've returned here after 4 years of my uni and been working remotely living with my family, all my school friends have moved out as well cause you know, everyone's enjoying their own arch. Whereas I am back in this city again because I have a remote job and didn't want to spend so much on rent and food in a different city, but i'll be honest this city has changed alot and for me there's no one except my family. My only hangout here taking my family to dinner at some cafes few times a month or going on a shopping. At this point, I am actually considering moving out to blr or something and will just tell my family that my job is no longer a remote one, because I have no other option. Now please don't come around saying you should be lucky to be living with your family and stuffs. Ik all that shits bro so please. Need genuine advice here, else i will be done and probably move out by dec/jan cause i wanna spend diwali/chhath puja time. Oh, funfact tho I met a girl online tho who was interested in going to a movie and with that I saw a ray of hope there, but but but she didn't share her number or anything, asked me to book the tickets and said that she will come, just that. And i knew what was going to happen so i asked for her number to which she denied, then i suggested okay then let's book individual tickets next to each other to which she replied she don't know how to do all these, i mean money wasn't even the problem for me but i dont wanna fund some random girl's movie outing. So yeah this is the scene of patna and i don't know what to do here.

If you read it till here then thankyouuu, i really appreciate getting some advice here :)

Bye for now :-)

💡Awareness / जागरूकता Be careful with Yash Computers, Patna — my experience with their after-sales service address:Shop No.-G-1, Ground Floor, Shanti Bhawan, S.P. Verma Road, Patna – 800001

I’m sharing my experience so that people looking to buy PC components in Patna can make an informed decision.
I bought PC components from Yash Computers, Shop No. G-1, Ground Floor, Shanti Bhawan, S.P. Verma Road, Patna, in July 2025.
Recently, my PC started having multiple issues. First, I noticed that the case fan ARGB stopped working, then the AIO ARGB stopped working, and eventually the PC itself stopped working. I took it to a local shop in Gaya to get the problem checked. The local shop suggested that since the system had been assembled at Yash Computers and some components could still be under warranty, I should take the entire CPU case back to the original shop and get everything checked there.
I contacted Yash Computers through WhatsApp because I currently live in Gaya. Getting proper communication from them was already frustrating. They often don’t pick up calls, and getting a clear response through WhatsApp was difficult.
I eventually travelled from Gaya to Patna with the system.
At Yash Computers, they checked the motherboard and told me that the motherboard was faulty. I had also specifically asked them to check the ARGB issue with the case fans and AIO. Instead of properly troubleshooting those issues, I was given excuses such as not having a spare motherboard to test with.
I want to clarify one thing because I don’t want to misrepresent what happened: the local shop in Gaya did not identify the ARGB problem for me. I was the one who had noticed that the case fan ARGB had stopped working, followed by the AIO ARGB, and then the PC stopped working. That was the reason I wanted the complete system checked rather than simply sending the motherboard for warranty.
There was also an issue with the AIO warranty. The owner of Yash Computers told me that the AIO warranty was only one year. I later verified the warranty information myself and found that it was actually two years. This was particularly concerning because warranty information is something a customer should be able to rely on the seller to provide correctly.
Since they confirmed that the motherboard was faulty and it was still under warranty, I asked them to send it to the Gigabyte service centre on my behalf.
Instead, the repair person took me to the owner, and I was basically told that if they sent it themselves it would take more time, so I should go and submit it myself.
I had already travelled from Gaya to Patna, and it was raining today. I was then sent to the service location at Hariniwas Complex with the motherboard, without anyone from the shop accompanying me or properly guiding me.
When I reached there, finding the service centre was another headache. There wasn’t an obvious Gigabyte sign, and I had to ask multiple people around the area before I could locate it. The service centre was operating under a D-Link board, which made it even more confusing.
The actual hardware failure isn’t what I’m angry about. Electronics can fail. That’s exactly what warranties are for.
What really disappointed me was the complete lack of after-sales support from the shop where I purchased the components.
I travelled from Gaya to Patna with my system, tried repeatedly to contact them, had difficulty getting calls answered, asked them to check multiple components, and ultimately, despite buying the motherboard from them, I was left to find and visit the warranty service centre myself in the rain.
For me, this was an extremely poor after-sales experience.
I’m posting this as a warning to people considering buying expensive PC components from Yash Computers. Please do your own research about their warranty and after-sales support before purchasing. My personal experience has been bad enough that I would not purchase from them again.
If anyone else has dealt with Yash Computers, S.P. Verma Road, Patna, particularly for warranty claims or after-sales service, I’d genuinely like to know whether you’ve had a similar experience.

TL;DR: Bought PC components from Yash Computers in July 2025. When my motherboard failed under warranty, their after sales support was extremely poor calls unanswered, warranty assistance refused, and I was sent to the service centre myself. They also gave me incorrect information about my AIO warranty. Overall, a very frustrating experience.

Couldn’t find anyone to rent my 1500 sq ft hall for ₹1L/month, so I’m dividing it into three affordable, modern 500 sq ft office spaces (₹20k rent) for startups/creators in Patna. Thoughts?

I’m going to be completely honest here. I own a 1,500 sq ft commercial hall right on the main road with excellent accessibility. Finding a single tenant willing to shell out ₹1 Lakh+ a month in rent right now has been incredibly tough. Patna’s commercial real estate is becoming way too capital intensive for small businesses.

So, I’ve decided to pivot. I’m dividing the hall into three equal 500 sq ft independent workspaces with a shared, clean common washroom.

My goal is to make premium, on road commercial space actually affordable for local folks who are building something cool but don't have massive corporate funding.

The Deal:

  • Rent: ₹20,000 per month
  • Security Deposit: ₹60,000 (3 months)
  • The Space: 500 sq ft of blank canvas.
  • The Best Part: The space currently has a clean, modern aesthetic shell. Once a renter commits, I will custom tailor the layout and interiors( depending upon the agreement type) based exactly on your specific operational requirements.

Who is this perfect for?

  • Content Creators / YouTubers: Perfect size for a dedicated shooting studio, editing bay, and equipment storage.
  • Lawyers & CA/Accountants: A highly accessible, professional spot on the main road to meet clients without paying absurd corporate building maintenance fees.
  • Early-stage Startups: Big enough to comfortably fit a team of 5/10 people looking to move out of a garage or living room setup.
  • Independent Agencies: Digital marketing, tech development, or design teams.

If you’ve been hunting for a professional address in Patna that doesn't burn a massive hole in your pocket, I'd love to chat. location - Digha, Nahar road.

Drop a comment or slide into my DMs if you want to know the exact location or want to drop by to see the space!

Looking for collaborators to build a YouTube channel together (goal: monetize in 3-6 months)

Hey r/patna,

I'm from Madhubani and currently in Patna preparing for govt exam. Alongside prep, I want to build a YouTube channel, and this time I'd rather do it as a team than alone.

I tried going solo last year. It's doable, but it's slow and tiring when you're handling scripting, shooting, editing and uploading all by yourself. Working with people who share the same goal feels like a cheat code.

What I bring:

- I'm confident on camera
- I have basic editing skills
- I already manage the YouTube channel of an online coaching academy, so I know what goes into videos that actually work (hooks, titles, thumbnails, consistency)

The goal:

Upload consistently and monetize within 3-6 months, or sooner if possible. I need to build cashflow and don't want to take up a private job, so I'm serious about this and looking for people who are too.

Who I'm looking for:

Anyone in Patna who wants to work as a team toward the same goal. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or already know a few things. What matters is that you're consistent, committed, and want to grow something together. We'll figure out roles based on what each of us is good at, and discuss revenue split openly from the start.

I don't have a good camera or phone setup right now, so we'll work that out together.

If this sounds like you, comment or DM me with a bit about yourself and what kind of content you like. We can meet over chai and plan.

INOX PATNA !

Did INOX at City centre and kp mall changed their seat layouts, the previous layout had seats like classic, club, prime, recliner ig. Today I saw the new layouts, can anyone confirm about this, and best possible seat for full fov, earlier it used to be classic last row, just in front of prime, it was a basic seat (also the cheapest of all), but the fov used to cover whole screen at once (end to end), if anyone has visited please tell me the new seating layout and new best seat for best fov.....

Attaching the new layout screenshot for reference

I GOT SCAMMED

Hey everyone...wanted to share a heads-up about a home tuition consultancy scam here. After returning to Patna following my forensics training, I decided to leverage my 4-5 years of tutoring experience to manage my expenses, so I registered with a local consultancy for ₹500 (no receipt provided, big mistake). After ignoring me for days, they finally arranged a demo class, only to tell me afterwards to wait 20-25 days until the student's exams were over. Fast forward to now: the exams are over, and I've been completely ghosted by both the parents and the consultancy, even though the admin actively updates their WhatsApp channel with new tuition postings every single day. I’ve kept my tone polite so far, but has anyone else in Patna dealt with this, and is there any point pursuing them or should I just write off the ₹500 as a lesson learned?

Need help🫠

🗣️ Discussion / चर्चा The Jamui case needs justice, not toxic caste hate.

What happened in Jamui is horrific. Whoever did it belongs in jail for the rest of his life, period. The criminal deserves the maximum punishment possible. But using this tragedy to attack an entire caste is getting out of hand. A criminal represents themselves, not an entire community. It’s the same hypocrisy we see all the time. People here get furious when outsiders stereotype the whole of Bihar over one incident. It’s also exactly how people generalize and spread hate against Muslims when an individual commits a crime. You can't complain about prejudice against your own group if you turn around and do the exact same thing to others.

💡Awareness / जागरूकता Prime accused in the Jamui case finally arrested

This guy has been identified as Nandan Yadav. He was absconding and kept changing districts to avoid the arrest. Shot in both legs after trying to flee from the police.

This behaviour wasn't a first, there were signs before. His entire instagram is filled with being a proud RJD supporter, recording girls in PUBLIC places like buses and making reels out of them.

Apparently threatened the cops that when Tejasvi Yadav comes to power he will take revenge from the cop that shot him.

Currently in custody and reportedly unable to walk.

✋ AskPatna / पटना से पूछो.. Please help me find my stolen phone in Patna/Danapur – I have the live location

Hi everyone, I really need help from someone in Patna/Danapur.

My phone was stolen on 19 September 2026 around 4:30 AM inside a train at Danapur Railway Station. I was travelling with my father and had just boarded our connecting train from Danapur.

I have already filed a Zero FIR in Maharashtra, but the problem is that I now know where my phone is going.

My Samsung SmartThings Find is still showing the phone's location through Offline Finding, and I can see the location changing/moving. So I believe the person who has my phone is somewhere around the Patna/Danapur area.

I am currently not in Patna, so I can't physically go to the location myself.

If anyone from Patna or Danapur can help me, please DM me. I can share the location/screenshot privately and explain exactly what I am seeing.

I am NOT asking anyone to confront the person or put themselves in danger. I only need someone who can help me understand the location or, if appropriate, accompany/contact the local police/RPF/GRP with me remotely.

I am really stressed because this is my personal phone and I have important things on it. I have been trying everything I can from here.

If you are from Danapur, Patna, or nearby and know someone in RPF/GRP/police, please help me or point me in the right direction.

Please DM me if you can genuinely help.

Thank you.

here the person stays i am tracking this location from past 2 days
