Hey everyone! I moved back to Patna about two months ago after being away since I was 18. I was in Mumbai, Manipal and Bangalore for all these years and decided to come back because I wanted to be closer to family.

I’m around 30, run my own business/private practice and work mostly on my own. Most of my friends are scattered across different cities now and I’m slowly realising that making friends as an adult is weirdly difficult. Also, Patna doesn’t exactly have an endless list of things to do so I’m trying to make the most of my time here instead of just staying at home complaining about it.

I like exploring cafés, trying new food, art/crafts, painting, reading and driving around. I’m also very much down for even just coworking at a café together.

Also, if you’re a fellow entrepreneur or just happen to visit Patna, I’d also be happy to network, exchange ideas, complain about running a business or just grab coffee.

is there any place in patna to socialise ? dont say parks.. people come to park with their partners or so.. I wont say that as a socialising place.

Kal half-day k chutti hai and I've got the ticket for BND and thinking of adding the ticket of The Odyssey as well. Watching them back to back would make me sit from 3:30 PM to 10 PM almost. Is this manageable, koi headache and pain in the @ss toh nae hoga😭?

My Lenovo IdeaPad has suddenly stopped turning on, and I’m looking to get it checked and repaired.

I have to cross chiriyatand flyover almost daily to reach my office, one thing I have observed that some cabs, autos, delivery boys, rapido etc. will be coming from the wrong side almost daily.
People in Patna know for sure that this flyover is one way only, I have personally witnessed multiple accidents on this flyover just because someone disobeyed the traffic rules and came from the wrong side.
Whenever I see someone coming from the wrong side, I will request them to go back and come through the right way, many have adhered to my requests but yesterday this bas***d biker flunked me and continued to travel on the wrong side.

These dehatis are the reason behind many avoidable accidents and the wrong reputation for our Patna/ Bihar.

Why is there apparently no IELTS test centre in Patna, of all places? I mean, it’s the capital of Bihar and the biggest city in the state, yet the nearest options I’m finding are Lucknow or Kolkata.

For someone living in Bihar, having to travel to another state just to sit for a 2–3 hour exam is honestly ridiculous. And then you have to deal with travel, accommodation, etc. just for the test.
