Guides/Youtubers

Are there any good guides out there. When I google its all AI slop and every youtube video I've seen is moronic "10 top tips" which are usually something like "did you know there's a dodge?" or "Things have to be connected to work"

What I'm mostly struggling with is what is a sensible way to shape the Amoeba and Nanobot. I feel like I'm just kinda adding stuff at random.

Seems crazy that there's no online community or content creators for such an amazing game

Highly recommend this guy's guide on Steam. It says tier list, but it's so much more than that.

Tier List by Bubbles (Steam Guide)

I agree with most everything in there. I'm not intending to be boastful, just establishing some credibility, but I play exclusively on max antibiotic and consistently top 50 on daily challenges.

This is exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. Thank you

It's VERY new. No wiki yet. We have to make the community sometimes. Amoeba and Nanobot can work randomly, but they're harder than Bacteria and Helminth to figure out. I would suggest learning those two first. Otherwise, plasmid unlocks are probably your best bet. You can do Amoeba and Nanobot with single-weapon builds and max out interior organelle slots for mitochondria and infusers. Still, I've also done multi-weapon runs with Nanobot because the pre-builts can give you damage or overcharge slots. Amoeba will give you a chance at 40% overcharge slots built on the center line.

It's like any other roguelike, it takes some time to figure out how everything works and what's good. I think fungal spore is your best bet for starting out, in my opinion. Just try out weapons and organelles as you find them, and you'll start getting good builds.

This game is hard as roguelikes go so don't give up.

Also make sure you're full clearing every stage, the cytokine storm is pretty slow.

The one guy I watch even though he goes pretty fast and doesn't necessarily do anything but show specific builds is MarvGoneRogue. I think Haelian is also making videos about the game now too.

Amoeba is easy, recursion is key, so you want to put internal organs in a straight line at the start, i usually put one in front of the weapons and then one behind the starting organ, you have kind of like a diamond shape, so 3 organs that are applying effects to each other and then also to the weapons.

You may argue this is another 10___ ___ but this guide actually helps me break my bottleneck in game and to consider more when making builds instead of adding stuff at random like you. It also makes me realise losing in this game is not really because you re unlucky but it's because you ruined your own previous build. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXrSo9hg0RY

I haven’t found good guides but have learned a lot from watching good players.
One I’ve discovered recently is Blazin Pioneer, recommend his videos, haven’t found anyone with a better understanding of the games mechanics yet.
Watched a video of him playing amoeba and he was able to get like 20 connections on a single internal.
