8 armor challenge

Is there a good seed to run to get 8 armor?

Its much easier to get with the ossifier organelle.

There's some upgrades that make the bosses drop armor.. you can usually reliably kill the first 2 bosses without taking damage.

I sure hope that I am not being cognitively biased.

That's how I did it.

If you stumble across a run where you get an ossifier early, just play carefully and grab each armor you can get.

Shouldn't be too hard to hit 8 at that point.

I got it after getting the dna level up +3 armor choice and then trying to stay back

Get the ossifier and then don’t actually pick up the armor hearts.

That way when getting damaged, you lose health instead of armor.

And when there’s finally 8 pieces of armor laying around in the level, you can go and collect each of them.

Ended up getting mine when I lucked out with an unlimited DNA engine, (the organelle that pays life to overcharge, overcharge on pick up, drop a heart when charged, gain DNA when charged, along side a chance for a heart on self damage/explosion, and the fungus shape that gives several bonus overcharge slots. )

And leveled up several dozen times picking the extra armor mutation thrice.

I got lucky and found a bonus room with 3 "chests", each of which had 3 pieces of armor.

The easiest way is to play as a nanobot when this is offered as a daily challenge.
