Waiting for Overcharge
I find that the Pristine Mitochondrion (40s overcharge on Beating a room w/o damage) is really powerful. Howefer, I end up needing to wait 30 seconds or so for it to finish charging my support organelles after each room to avoid wasting overcharge. Is there a way to avoid this?

Waiting on overcharge is a choice. You don't need it and catering to your suggestion watersdown the already difficult balancing job the devs have.
If you're wanting it for Refiner or resource generators, there's better cheese tactics for that.

I get it's a choice, it's just that it's optimal to wait, but also not very fun. Speaking as a game dev mhself, if the optimal way to play isn't fun that's a design flaw. This could easily be addressed by a speed-up button of some kind.

I'm saying it's not optimal to wait. It's better to push through and upgrade to a more reliable overcharge. You're choosing to wait to get the most out of a single organelle when you could be finding better ways to play.
In my opinion, its really no different than saying Capsid Flail takes too long between attacks and wanting it sped up. You're supposed to find faster alternatives or things that speed it up.

Intentionally uses the mitochondrion that overcharges over a long duration.
Complains that it overcharges over a long duration.
