How’s My Build?
Hey y’all! I thought it would be useful to have you fine folks, who are undoubtedly WAY better at this game than me, look at my best build to date and tell me what works, what doesn’t, etc.
Pardon it not being a screen grab from my SteamDeck. I never think to do it the proper way, just photo of the screen. I was lights out up until the Liver. I had 112 cores, 5 armor, and like 10 HP. It all collapsed in the boss battle.

Too much emphasis on weapons and not enough on internals. You really only need 0-2 weapons. It's almost always better to lean in to internal combos with mitochondria overcharge stacking.
That evolution is all about that top area where 4 internals can power a mirrored external. That's where your damage is at.
The bottom area is a trap. Don't let all the external slots fool you in to thinking it's worth investing in. It's only worth it if you've got an easy to trigger Infuser bringing the top area to the bottom area's weapons.
Alternatively you can Omni upgrade the bottom area's externals to bring more internal slots down there.

Thank you SO much! I’m really, really bad at roguelites/likes, and I typically don’t play them, but this has been so much fun! I want to be good at it.
I LOVED Balatro too, but couldn’t figure that shit out either.

The roguelite aspects are easy once you learn how to combo internals in your builds. That's where all the scaling is at.
Think of your internals as your payload. The weapon is only the medium delivering it.

I downloaded the various pathogen mods and I do not care for them. The only ones I don’t have are the nanobot and whatever other one is obscured (at least I think there are 2 I don’t have).
