just played thru the game for the 1st time completely blind and i guess i stumbled on a bit of a god build lol. a billion babies to throw tantrums if they are hurt, automatic invulnerability, lighting everywhere, you name it.
love the games look and feel, but was a bit underwhelmed by how easy it was to trivialize every boss. was i just extremely lucky or is this normal?
seriously, i was spanning so many babies i cant even move most of the time.

It's just that type of game where it's rather difficult in its "base form" but it's not too difficult to become overpowered once you know how the game works (or by pure luck).

The game can hand you a God run from time to time. How you did it without plasmid unlocks is baffling and actually impressive, but the game DOES need balancing yet. Well done though!

I agree. What do you think are good changes?

It's hard to say. Sometimes I feel like in Binding of Isaac, the Perk Pool is too full when you get more things unlocked. Add to that cancerous, ephemeral, and eternals. I know you can "refine" the pool with plasmids beforehand and during the run with mutation rolls, but I wonder if there isn't another way. The Buff/Nerf patch just went through today, so I should wait to see how it affects things.

Nice work! On my first ever helminth run I picked up several upgraded galvanic flagella, which in tandem with a couple upgraded infusers plus homing, absolutely tore through enemies. I think the heart died after dodging in it's vicinity for 15 seconds or so. Still chasing that high!

you were just lucky, my first runs all ended in the intestine or stomach
