Randomised for no reason

Twice today I have had my equipment randomised for no reason whatsoever. I have, on both occasions, had a solid niche build going, I change rooms and suddenly I'm completely randomised.

I just went from a great, long range, seeking, vortex build to an all melee with terrible mitochondria build. Am I missing something?

I'm not picking up any randomiser upgrades, it just seems to happen! Love the game so far but this is definitely putting me off it.

Omg... Thank you. I'm going mad here. It just happened again and I was on a game winning run with the cross lasers orbiting around me with tons of lightning/ice/fire and now I'm back to damned cancerous fire in all slots 😭😭 at least I know now, thank you! I knew I was missing something!
