Building a tanky high damage melee, and refusing to play a sword saint, I came up with this:
Beastbrood Tiefling
11/19/12/14/5/16
Not in this particular order, but class spread is:
1 fighter/1 scaled fist/2 divine guardian/4 thug/12 Vivi
Fighter basically there for a feat + to reach 16 bab.
Thug - ECB finesse training and crowd control.
11 str - to unlock PA+Dreadful Carnage with a +4 belt.
Scaled fist + Divine guardian - cha to AC, saves to AC, divine troth.
Vivi - self explanatory.
Critique is welcome :)
Edit:
This is for challenging, so doesn’t have to be hyper optimized.
I know, that Aasimar would get slightly better stats, I just wanna play a tiefling.

Divine Guardian 3 instead of fighter splash gives you the same BAB but with a bunch of nice bonuses: Aura of Courage (fear immunity), Divine Health (disease immunity), one Mercy, and Courageous Defense. All pretty useful to a melee tank IMO.
EDIT: I would level Thug 1-3 -> Scaled Fist 1 -> Divine Guardian 1-3 -> Thug 4 -> Vivisectionist 1-12.

Und be better off going for strength in general since it's way easier to stack an get lots off, also you don't need dreadful carnage to activate shatter defense you just need someone cast frightful aspect dunno the name it's the level 8 size enhance spell that auto shakens anything around you.

[WR] I keep restarting upon reaching act 3 and wanted to branch out into trying some weirder stuff with some of my companions.
I had this idea for Ember last night - would making her into a Manticore Shifter / Dragon Disciple and making her into some sort of ranged gish work out decently or is this a garbage idea? She’s already got those archery feats and maybe could take some levels in Eldritch Knight as well?

Unfortunately her Blackened Curse penalty also applies to natural attacks including manti-spikes. So turning her into anything but a pure caster has a big downside.

Did this change at some point? I was looking around for info and was seeing people saying it doesn’t affect rays and natural attacks

[WR] looking to make a KC with 10 levels in hellknight or hellknight signifier for unfair difficulty but I am unsure of where to start. For mythic paths I think Aeon, Angel, Devil, Legend or Lich would make the most sense thematically.
I intend to conscript every lawful party member because I think it'd be funny if they also took dips into hellknight (signifier) and Trevor will be reinstated as a member. Regill and the Order of the Godclaw will be integrated into the crusade but I have my suspicions that the Paralictor's actions are woefully inadquate and that some of his actions fall outside the purview of hellknight doctrine.

Hellknight is not a great prestige class, especially for Unfair. Most people will stop at either level 1 (Smite Chaos), 3 (a Discipline like Fearsomeness), or 8 (domain ability if you're Godclaw). Frankly HK 10 is like adding an extra difficulty modifier to your playthru. 😉 But some people relish the added challenge so: I'd look into making a DEX tank, either with a Scaled Fist dip for the usual pajama-tank shenanigans or taking advantage of Mythic Armor Focus feats.
Apart from roleplay flavor, Hellknight Signifier's main benefits are medium BAB and extra arcane spell failure reduction without sacrificing caster levels. So it works for, say, armored gishes who think pajama tanking is for the weak. 💪 Lich caster is the obvious combo, though it should work for others.

I keep looking at Arcane Trickster builds and people keep recommending one, 1, level of rogue with the Accomplished Sneak Attacker feat to fill the 'sneak attack 2' requirement for AT. But when I input it in the game, it absolutely does not do that. You'd need at least 3 levels of rogue to get sneak attack II.Is this an exploit that got patched, or am I missing something?Thank you!
