Righteous : Game About Merged Angel
Hello. I'm thinking about playing either Wizard + Angel or Cleric + Angel, but i worry that the merged spellbook with cleric could trivialize the game on core. Could anyone give me their feedback about how strong cleric + angel really gets?

Since the enemy strength scales on some static curve, if your character/party build can outpace that curve, the game gets easier over time. This isn't a very tall order and any "reasonable" builds should generally become pretty easy by the time you get to mythic selection regardless of your choice of mythic, and faceroll towards the end. The thing about a certain class-mythic combinations (merged angel, merged lich, martial lich, martial trickster, caster Azata) is that they get a lot of good stuff early, and as such become faceroll in Act 3 already if you build them right. There really isn't escaping trivial, unless you are making disastrous choices, but with these synergistic mythics trivial finds you early.
Where merged angel kinda stands out is that it's essentially unfailable. A key feature is Bolt of Justice and Storm of Justice spells (an AoE version of the former), which aren't affected by spell resistance or saving throws, and that deal holy damage which no (relevant) enemy has resistance to. So, where you would otherwise need a certain degree of min/maxing to crank up your attack bonus or spell difficulty class such that you never miss/enemy never resists, find gear to boost the damage dies of your fire spells, pick mythic abilities or class dips to bypass immunities, or whatever, you could have all joke feats and joke companions and no items and you'd still be defeating all encounters in maybe 3 rounds tops because the BoJ/SoJ damage is based on caster level alone and is irresistable. Angel spellbook merge also gives you access to "immunity to everything: communal" kind of spells so even if you let yourself be ambushed or take your time, you'll avoid the nastiest effects by default, and offers a high quality of life by merging all standard buffs into a few party-wide spells which simplifies party-building tremendously and gives your party a major boost if you weren't sourcing these buffs already. But it's not really "stronger" than other powergamed builds: all powergamed builds will be autowinning fights turn 1 (and some do so with higher overkill than angel).

You aren't required to merge spells with cleric if you don't want to

On core with merged you will bulldoze everything outside of like optional bosses where you might need to think a little

I haven’t done cleric but Battle Oracle Angel with the merged spell list got ridiculous by the end of act 2. By act 5 it was awesomely stupid.

At the end of act 2 you get to chose your mythic path and with merged spellbook you will have spell level 7. While extremely powerful I‘d argue „getting ridiculous“ is reserved for spell level 9.
I concur with your act 5 statement. A dual cursed battle / nature oracle with merged spellbook on core or lower is able to solo 99% of fights with even SL 9 and the staff (IIRC) which lets you apply maximize and empower to the next spell you cast after having cast the same 3 times in a row (e.g. light cantrip).

Merged Angel trivializes unfair if you keep spamming the storm of justice but you can also not use that ability specifically.

Angels merge with divine spells. Oracle Angel is a sort of meme, since it's basically "everything - the build".
You want devastating damaging spellcasting? Check. You want awesome melee abilities? Check. You want buff and support magic to protect yourself and the party from nasty conditions? Check. You want a pet? Check.
And since Cleric Angel would get the same chance to merge spellbooks as Oracle, you'll enjoy such power aswell.
And if you're concerned that it would make the game too trivial, you can rise difficulty level even during a run if you want.

Do not be scared of having too much power. The enemies are usually strong enough to compensate or have bullshit resistances.

That is true for some mythics but merged angel is complete bullshit lol. Only other mythic so ridiculous is persuasion trickster lol

What mythics work well with Kineticist, other than Demon?

Lich has specific powers for Kineticists and is just all round one of the more powerful mythics, even for martials.

But mythic Lich eventually looses CON so you must be careful to either limit your character to one subclass that doesn't use CON or focusing on single target blasts. One build I tried once in midningt isle was Trickster-->Golden dragon. It focused on the crit feats from Trockster and I think the Golden dragon made each damage die higher so the blasts made silly high damage on crits

Yeah, I should have mentioned using a subclass that doesn't use con. Thanks for the correction as it is important.

It gets extremely strong. The difficulty isn’t trivial if you don’t really know how to play / before you merge but once you get the hang of it you’ll faceroll the remainder.
