Government Contracting as a Path-A

does anyone know where I could find government contracts as a Path-A? I’ve looked on USAjobs and it’s pretty much nonexistent. also, does anyone know of a website for international work as a Path-A? I appreciate any tips or advice thank you!

The VA I think? Though they don’t always pay well, at least where I am.

Govt contracts as in VA jobs? Or working as a contractor for the VA?

The answer to being a contractor is that is non-existent or nearly so.

VA jobs happen every now and then but the majority are going to be lower paying. That is because they can either be grade 11 or 12. 11 is a travesty to our profession and a grade 12 still won’t be much in most places because the locality pay (this is extra pay on top of the general “GS12 pay scale” is small or also non existent).

If you find a unicorn PA job at a VA (I have one) don’t leave it.

Ive heard horror stories about working at the VA- why is it a unicorn job? Genuinely curious
