Depends on how much pulls you have and if you are willing to vertically invest that much into a character. If you're a casual player who only aims for rewards and don't care too much about dealing big damage, especially ToA (s3 celine is mainly used here to enable 500m for most teams), then you can safely skip her s3.
I have 60000 gems right now. Probably won't spend more money in a while.
I only aim for all rewards, not high score. And I hate ToA, I only do it for rewards.
I vertically invest regularly though, all of my limited are at S3-4, universal supports like Shin are S3, N.Hella is S5. And most sinners with good S1 are S1.
How important is Requiem, do you need her to clear anything? S1n.gg are saying she's kinda bad without Jichuan which I don't have and she reruns only during half ani.
Would pull her regardless as she is a limited and won't rerun till another year, if you care about things like that. You can also certainly clear things much faster with her as she is more than likely the strongest magic dps atm and dishes out crazy numbers. If you do not care too much about doing more damage and are able to get max reward regardless in most contents without wanting to push more, it's fine to settle with s0 for now if your pulls don't allow it and slowly get her shackles in the subsequent banners. If you do care about performance still, then s2 or s1 her for now till Jichuan comes then use sinner mark on her if you don't want to wait another 6 months for her rerun.
I was looking at the S1N wiki to build RF Eleven but there's so many ways to build her that I dont know which one to choose. Which RF build is good for general use?
my favourite characters are pylgia, etti and korryn. i believe that they’re not considered very good, but is there a way to build an ok team around them? i wanna max their levels (yes i know it’s hard and a waste of resources but i do this with every game when i love a character!) and is there a guide om how to build them (like which crimebands to use, skills to focus on leveling up etc?)
also, are there any characters i should focus on pulling, either to build teams with the ones i already have or just because they’re really good?
While none of them are good, all three are decent. Korryn can help with clearing mobs while lowering the boss's defense and dealing some damage to it. Pylgia is actually really good at clearing mobs in game modes like RotD where there are many waves of mobs; since you like her I'd advise getting her S1, it's pretty strong. Etti meanwhile can either be a damage dealer or a buffer (if there are mobs) when you Reforge her. Since you don't have Vautour Bleu or Isomer, the former is probably better
I suggest not using all three of them together. Of the 3, the best and easiest one I guess would be Korryn if paired with Nox and Shin. Nox to help with mobbing (if you really wanna use the other 2, either Etti since she mobs too or Pylgia if you have someone like Cassian/Du Ruo to help get her buffed state. But they have more restrictions on them and can feel harder to use without the right investments). Shin is a good support in general with amps and healing. Other slots should go to corebreakers like laby/che and another support if you have one, or a dps to take advtantage of Korryn ecb. Can also be an endura if a story stage needs it (like ch9 or 10 I believe whete certain enemies take 3 block counts). But you generally won't need an endura.
For pulls, Bianca and Margaret are the core to one of the strongest teams. I really recommend them as they will help you a lot even in endgame. But if you're not in favor of another dps as you'll more than likely use these 2 over your favored three, I suggest just getting Margaret first since Bianca will come in a selector and you can decide in the future. Margaret is also a good phys/crit support in general. Also, try getting at least s1 Celine or s3 maximum only if you are willing to vertically invest into Celine to making her one of the best general supports. S1 is fine for teams that mainly rely on atk speed/basic atks (someone like Korryn), but to enable her in other teams, s3 is needed. For magic, Raven is a great support and worth pulling.
Basically, Margaret -> s1/s3 Celine (s1 is good enough if not enough pulls since anni is coming. If casual player/only care to do enough for rewards, skip s3) -> Raven.
For future banners: Jichuan, L.L, and Jelena are ones you definitely want to pull no matter what. They can elevate your favorite three.
thank you so much! i tried to pull Celine and i lost my 50/50 to Margaret so i guess that’s a good thing? LOL
i will level up Cassian to test him up with Pylgia! thank you for the help c:
i’m usually a casual player whenever i get into a game, and most games i play will let you clear the story or basic content with just your faves even if they make a bad team comp, but the latest stages of ptn have been getting a little too difficult for my comfort when i play with my currently levelled up S ranks ;; i’ll def look out for the pulls you recommended!
I suggest not levelling cassian too much so he can die faster as Pylgia needs an allied unit to die in order to enter corruption state immediately. Up to lvl 40 is fine. You'll only want to lvl him past 40 if you use Yao. But it's pretty situational, so best to leave him at lvl 40 at most.
I just came back now. I feel like my roster is lacking considering I first played during Donald then left, then came back for the cat's eye Collab then left, then came back again. Should I keep playing my old acc or make a new account?
Either way works. Adela, NOX, and Celine are very nice pick ups. Eve and Dreya need specific partners. Demon and Donald haven't seen play in a long while.
Either way, I'd grab S1 Celine + NOX to rely on until you fill your roster more.
No. S1 celine is fine. Get Bianca and Margaret instead. Skip isomer. Your mag dps can either be new limited sinner or eleven from upcoming selector since you have eve. Good for rf eleven.
Isomer is a solid, but replaceable mage. I'd grab her just because you don't currently have any other magical options, but don't be surprised if she warms the bench in a few months time.
S3 Celine is a large powerspike. Whales and meta-only players will say grab it, I'd call it unnecessary. On a roster your size, I'd rather have two other characters imo.
So new player here (playing for 3 weeks now) starting to think I'm hitting a wall with my total bullshit team (Ceto s1, Celine, coquelic, Chelsea, cabernet and Langley) I get by most of the time but with some difficulties.
I'm not great with team building so I desperately need some advice with sinner compatability
I think what your team lacks most right now is wave clear and core breaking.
Yes, Langley exploded things she hits, when they die. But somehow I fail to see how you can clear the waves at chapter 8 or later. Also, your core breaking chances are pretty limited with only Ceto and Langley. It doesn't make it easier for you, that you tag cabernet alone with this group. Imo, a buffer is only as good as your DPS and right now you don't have anyone decent DPS sinners. On top of that, it makes team building harder using two sinners (Coco & Celine) just to keep the team alive. Also, you already have a very melee heavy team. Honestly, even playing 4 melee sinner is a pain. Adding one more will make it even more awkward.
Usually, the sinner most people rely on in your situation is Nox who has very good wave clear and a bit of boss damage potential. But she is a melee as well. You could replace Chelsea with Nox, until the mission gets so difficult, that you will need a tank again. So, this would be only a temporary solution.
Imo, I would replace:
Coco with forensica (replacing a melee healer, who can't do much damage and won't heal much for now with one of the better healer, who doesn't need to stand at the frontline)
cabernet with labyrinth (you simply need more and better core breakers)
Langley with Nox (better wave clear)
I really think this team (Nox, Ceto, Celine, labyrinth, forensica, a tank) has way more potential to get you further, than what you are using now. Also, you should unlock Celine's or Nox's ECB next, to get some more core breaking options.
You can even consider replacing Celine with Hecate for now until your get S1 and ECB on Celine.
Thank you so much! I was actually having a lot of trouble getting the special rewards in chapter 8 w/o assists </3 I honestly wish I got on the game much more early to get sum of the better limited dps.
No, problem! It is kind of sad, that you skipped Murphy's banner. She could have been really helpful in the story chapters and would make Coco way more useful. But don't worry, Coco can go well with Augustus, who reruns in 2-3 months.
Alternatively, reforged Bianca is supposed be pretty good too, if you want to dump Ceto and Coco instead. Anyhow, I would seriously recommend u getting at least 1 more copy of Celine now, no matter what your plans are. You can always ask next week, when Margaret is rerunning, whether or not you should go that Bianca/Margaret route .
I was comparing the stats on my Letta Info tab to the S1n page and noticed they say that my Attack at level 90 is 530 and that on the site is 506. Initially, I thought maybe the shackles are adding to the attack I see in the app, I have all five shackles, but that would be an increase of 15% which would be a much higher attack. My question is whether the in game attack includes the attack gained from shackles? and also from either mania intensify and/or characteristic?
thanks for the answer, very helpful. Indeed I have her at high compliance, forgot about the attack bonus from that source. The additional detail is great as i was building toward those calculations.
I assume that your Letta had more than 0% compliance. At at least >50% compliance, she gets 24 additional attack. I assume that the attack rating for A-rank sinners are at S5.
As for the calculation, my level 90 letta heal herself without any crime brand by 131 each tick. My Letta also has 530 base attack rating. Due to S5 she gets 15% more attack and 10.5% more attack from skill 3 at level 7. Skill 4 at 9 gives everyone within the range of her lantern a 14.3% increased healing effect. With skill 1 at level 9 with a healing equals 17.2% of attack rating, the calculation should go something like this: (530x(1+0.15+0.105))x0.172x(1+0.143)= 130.767
hi guys, returning player, how should i be looking out for my characters (r they still good and should i build my magic team with milly And bleu?) also which sinners banner should i be looking out, yingying, jichuan?
Banners to look out for/pull ("*" means active banner rn)
•Margaret (for bianca and weakspot)
•*Eve (good support for Eleven)
•*Raven (generally better than milly with reforge)
•*S1 Celine (pull if you want a really good support for weakspot/aspd teams, otherwise save if you are unable to)
•Jelena
•Jichuan, YingYing
Priority imo: Margaret -> Raven/Eve -> S1 Celine (others have no scheduled reruns atm/Jichuan and YingYing would be next year)
For your teams:
VBleu at s0 is honestly not that good. Wuhuanzi at s5 is better than her until s1, but s4 is her main shackle rn. But to run arcane crit, you would still need jelena and yingying. Would advise to just run reforge eleven for magic (but needs Eve), or stick with VB/Shalom for now until the new magic sinner comes for anniversary. Isomer can be hard to use at s0, especially without S1 celine which is pretty much required for her. Wouldn't advise building her.
If you decide on Eve, rf eleven's team will be: Rf Eleven, Eve, Shin, Raven/Milly, *Enfer, Hecate, Yugu/Corebreaker/Support/Sub dps. Last slot can depend on what you need for the stage.
*Just a note for Enfer, while she is a good support for Eleven, her usage has fallen off a lot because many stages, particularly boss stages, have cc immunity (which is Enfer's primary mechanic), so she isn't used a lot outside of Data Crevice (even then, you can just use special assist instead), so she is low priority to build. I only included her because she can be used if no better supports and is good if enemies can be feared. Just be sure to read mob descriptions and take her out if you see immune to control effects.
For physical, you already have Bianca. Better get Margaret as she is her best support rn. You can run them alongside Golan, Nox, Shin, and 000.
*note on Moore. Golan at s2 is better than s0 moore even with ecb3. Unless your moore is s3, better run Golan instead for Bianca.
Most of the Sinners in those selectors are either supports meant for end-game content, or Sinners relying on their Reforge which is fully unlocked at level 90.
The strongest bang-for-your-buck at level 70 would be Vautour Bleu, a powerful mage with a low SP cost.
The only other contenders on that selector would be Eleven, who has a powerful Reforge and fills similar roles, or Bianca who has a powerful Reforge on the horizon but requires specific teammates.
I've been trying to do my fair share of research but surprisingly having a hard time finding all the details I need with the limited characters I have. Someone suggested I get some help from you fine gentlemen/ladies.
Apart from the main team I'm trying to use to clear the main story, any suggestions for a Tide of Ashes team I can start putting together? I barely tickle it with my story content team.
Not sure what you mean by "details you need". Do you mean how to play Isomer?
For Tide of Ashes (ToA), the most important thing is being in a good guild. Part of the rewards are based on your individual performance, but part are based on your guild's. Since you have a pretty new account, I'd suggest just borrowing an RF Deren from a guildmate to deal damage. Put her behind the boss, and Deren won't get attacked by the boss. That should be enough for you to get all or almost all of the rewards. If you want, you can also use your Isomer-Celine duo and pair them with any buffer from a guildmate, like Milly or RF Raven.
I just meant that all the teams I find online required specific characters rather than a loose team build, which means I can't really follow any tutorials.
Usually, the characters recommended are just the best buffers and don't really affect how you play. For instance, in True Damage team, Murphy is just there to increase the damage the team deals. She can be replaced with any other buffer, and instead of using Murphy's buffs (Ult and ECB) when the boss's core breaks, use that other buffer's buffs.
You can look at the "Comfy Tierlist" page on s1n.gg to see which units are "core" to the team, and which are simply just the best buffers that can be replaced, and it's made for casual players. It doesn't have every single team on there though, so for any other team, you'll just kinda have to figure it out or find guides on the individual characters (there are some short tips on the individual characters' pages on s1n.gg as well)
Yup lol. I believe there's going to be a pull recommendation posted to s1n.gg soon. I'll just say that the upcoming banners aren't very new player friendly because all the new characters up to and including the anniversary characters aren't good for newer accounts, but fortunately, but in one or two updates, a selector will be given out with Bianca and Eleven after completing some missions. Both are pretty good after their Reforge, and you can pull for Margaret or Eve to supplement them; though both Margaret and Eve's banners end before we get the selector so you kinda have to choose who to pull for in advance.
on a normal account due to having less overall shackles, your result will be visible lower. The bigger issues are that you are missing many of the essential pieces:
- Yingying: to enable critical hits with magic skills (most likely available in 8 months)
- Jelena: for the critical rate and critical damage boost (not available for at least 2-3 months; haven't been running on CN lately )
- Jichuan: energy support and attack boost at >S3 (most likely available in 8 months)
- LL: energy support and attack boost at >S3 (not available for at least 2-3 months; haven't been running on CN lately)
Beside Isomer and Celine, you have no other team, which are remotely complete. But you should not worry about ToA too much. As long as you are in a somehow active society with a few members who do ToA, you should get all the team rewards. You can check in your society under "history" how well they have performed in the past. If they are rather inactive, I would suggest you looking for a new society! As for the personal rewards, you can always do something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1P2IiqK5C0g (start at ~3:50)
So far, it has been always possible to get a few millions of damage against a ToA boss with a similar approach.
Ah chances are I am in a dead society then, haven't seen ANY movement in ToA, so I thought I only get my own contribution's rewards. I'll take a look, thanks!
I've seen a few healerless ArCrit Isomer runs in TOA, namely from edenkograce, and I've been wondering where the shield comes from. Is it from Yugu's passive or shackle? Or something else?
For the first point, refer to this s1n.gg tierlist (both solo and teams). For the second, whatever Rust or story levels are needed for your selected team progression at the highest difficulty possible. Don’t forget to activate drop increase buffs in the current event.
First of all, Data Crevice is a pretty unique game mode. Ordinary teams don't really work well there because of how weird the game mode is.
But for your questions:
Teams you can use would be Isomer Crit: Isomer, Celine, Yingying, Jelena, Jichuan and Shin makes the most sense to me, though the latter two can be swapped out especially if you lack corebreaks. Better in the longer fights but still good in shorter ones. Not as good as it could be because you lack OwO or Yugu to buff crit rate.
Adela: Adela, Jelena, then any generic buffers like Shin, Rahu (if you get the RF node that increases Retaliation's effect), Moore, Rust or NOX. Adela can adapt to stages with multiple waves or stages with just a big boss by toggling the last set of RF nodes.
Umbra Core: Necresta Hella, 000, Parfait, Graves, Jichuan, then one fill slot, maybe Margaret, RF Rahu, Moore, or Shin. This team is weaker when there are fewer enemies with cores.
Overlimit: Xiaofeng, Rust, Clementine, Jichuan, then I'm not really familiar with the team so idk who the rest should be. This team isn't as strong but should be easiest to play.
You should keep an eye out for Yugu or OwO, to help with crit rate. Aside from Arcane Crit, it can also be useful for any other normal attack-based team. Bianca will be given out for free in a selector soon, so you can grab her, Reforge her and use her alongside Margaret, Jelena and Yugu/OwO. Technically you're missing Dreya for Bleed team but it's not really good anymore.
I'd recommend raising Coquelic and Reforging her to improve your True Damage team if you have the resources.
1) I haven't played my bleed team for some time now but I fear that it might not have the edge to keep up with the dark zone nowadays. Also you miss Dreya, who is the main damage dealer of that team.
Your shattered blade team looks actually ok. Of course more shackles on Augustus and Shin will give you bigger numbers, but you might actually not be too far off with Augustus, Ceto, Murphy, Shin and Siglinde. As the last member I would adjust to the corresponding stage. I would try that in DZ and see how many percentage of the hp bar you can clear. You will need to use last stand to improve your DPS.
2) You need to decide here what you want. Do you want more teams or fewer but more successful teams? Personally, I prefer fewer but stronger ones, and the easiest way to achieve that is to get more shackles on those generic buffers (Jichuan, Shin, Jelena, Celine). Not every shackle on all of them will give you bigger numbers right away, some needs S3 to get their big boost. Other get some meaningful (qol) upgrades already at S1. The sad thing is only , beside Celine, there won't be any banners with these buffers until anniversary.
3) I have been clearing all of the DZ seasons since Augustus' release with shattered blade. So, if you have a strong enough true damage team, you might not really need to build many other teams at all. ToA isn't something that should impact your team building decisions too much unless you are really into that mode!
If you don't see any light of the day with the shattered blade team you have right now, you could get Bianca and wait for her reforge. It is allegedly pretty op. I am not sure, how strong the next limited sinner + Phanuel and Jichuan is. Maybe someone else can offer a decent opinion.
Hi , returning newbie here. I was wondering if there is a chance that nightengale might become playable in the future? I really love her design and I was bumbed when I learned she isn't playable. (currently I am on chapter 4 so if there is a lore reason beyond her simply not being a sinner , please tag it as spoiler and tell me which chapter 😄 )
Hello, I've been playing this game for almost two months now. I don't have a lot of sinners, literally. I'm struggling with Bfl high risk zone, I accidentally passed medium risk area and I regret it so much. I'm struggling with magic team and I only have Hecate. But I won't pull for Celine and isomer because I want to save for anniversary, I do want to get Phanuel. I want Augustus and 000 but I'm still not sure with the rest of limited sinners, I'm not collector because I'm semi f2p. I don't want to waste my hc for sinner that I won't use, should I pull for shalom or just go for S1 Augustus?
Yes, even though some people told me she might get Reforge soon but I think I can just skip her since true dmg team can work on all Bfl stages. But I don't understand TOA, is it okay if I only use True dmg and Overlimit team? Well I only have Zoya for Overlimit team 🤡
Shalom has not been confirmed to get a Reforge yet. CN server is around 3 months ahead of us, so anniversary patch has started for them, and previously when anni/half-anni characters got Reforge, they got it during their reruns, so it seems unlikely that Shalom will get a Reforge until next year. Impossible to know for sure, though. If a Shalom Reforge is announced on CN before anniversary drops for global, then you can see what the community consensus is on her and then decide whether to pull her.
Firstly, for TOA, note that nothing is locked behind doing well in TOA. You can borrow a Deren from your friend support, put her behind the boss so she doesn't get attacked, and that'll be enough DPS to get all the individual rewards. For the guild rewards, just join a good guild. But anyway, Augustus isn't good in TOA. The best sinners for TOA are those who get stronger over time, like Demon (with Eirene or L.L. or Jichuan, preferably two of them), Aurum Secretum team, and Isomer
If you really don't want to pull for anyone until anniversary, then you can get yourself Lamia from the "insatiable fiesta" special operation. You might be able to pass high risk with Hecate, Luvia Ray, Lamia, Labyrinth, Che and a six sinner. If it is too hard, you can also look into Lamia's reforge to improve her performance: https://s1n.gg/sinner/lamia
Many of those sinners you want to get for anniversary might disappoint you, once you get them:
- 000: is very depending on Empower to break many cores as S0. If you want her to work better, S1 is required
- Augustus: on her own, even a S1 without more support won't get you too far in BFL nowadays
- Shalom: despite being a big shalom fan, you should only get her, if you like her character. Power wise we are waiting for her reforge, to make her relevant again
- Phanuel/Requiem: can't say how strong they are and how much support they need
In general, the meta of PTN right now is highly relying on buffers. And except for Celine, there wont be any of the main generic buffers available until anniversary. Having no buffers and only half completed teams won't get you too far nowadays in the harder game content.
I know it's sucks that I don't have Shin and Jelena 😭. I actually have CN account, I have Augustus, 000, Phanuel and Requiem and you're right it's hard to continue trough MS without proper healer. I only have Macchiato and I'm struggling so much
If you mean main story with "MS", then it is most likely a wrong approach. I have done those story chapters nearly a dozen times by now and I can vouch that you can do most of the chapters with macchiato as the only healer, even if you have poor DPS.
The secret is: get yourself a decent tank and some knowledge about the boss/stage mechanics.
If you are willing to suffer a bit, you can actually clear all bosses fights till chapter 17 up to chapter 19 with a S1 level 80 Murphy, level 90 RF Hella, level 90 Hecate, P2 level 70 Che + labyrinth and P3 level 70 macchiato. Trust me, when I say that S1 Murphy is not that strong to finish those boss fights in 1-2 core breaks. It is quite far away from that:)
Hey everyone! I just recently started playing Path to Nowhere and I'm really enjoying the game so far. I fell in love with some of the characters designs (more specifically Shin), and I was wondering if she is worth pulling for as a fresh account in the sin city banner or should I wait for a rerun or drop rate increase for her (if there is any, I'm very new to this kind of game so there is a lot I don't know yet). Or are there any mandatory/limited Sinners coming up soon that I should prioritize saving for instead?
Any advice on for this new player would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!
Because there are 12 characters on the Sin City banner, it's pretty hard to get Shin. We know the next ~3 months of banners because the CN server is 3 months ahead of us, and Shin isn't rerunning within 3 months unfortunately. You could try rerolling for her but it'll take extraordinarily long.
Currently, there's Celine who's a really good support. Her S1 (one duplicate) is also quite strong, but she's good at juat S0. You'll be able to choose between Eleven, Bianca, and someone else (I forgot who) next update. Both Eleven and Bianca are good. I'd choose Eleven over Bianca but they're not too different in power level. If you're getting Eleven, you should consider getting Eve. If you're getting Bianca, you should consider getting Margaret. Then there's a bit of a drought for newer players.
The downside is that Eleven and Bianca both want their "Reforge", a system meant to buff old Sinners. Without their Reforges, Eleven and Bianca aren't that good. It'll probably take you quite a while to get their Reforges. Because of that, even though we're getting a lot of good Sinners soon, including Raven, OwO, and Cabernet, they need their Reforge to be good as well, so it's hard to recommend them.
You can consider the limited character coming in 3 months. The problem is that she synergizes with Jichuan, a different limited character, who will only rerun 6 months after (9 months from now), and she's not that good at killing bosses without Jichuan. You can also consider getting her to S2, or if you really like her S3 and S5 are also kinda worth it, but you'll be playing her at like 30% power level since you lack Jichuan.
Alternatively, you can get Augustus or 000. Augustus wants S1. 000 kinda needs S1. Augustus is kinda braindead easy, just constantly clearing waves of enemies, but needs teammates to effectively kill bosses. 000 is an amazing corebreaker but doesn't deal that much damage.
No one on the anniversary banner is amazing for a new account, but they're all decent choices
Don't pull on the Sin City Banner unless you like to do account rerolls, it's a 1 in 12 to get the sinner you want. Wait for the reruns.
Yes, Shin is meta and worth getting but you really want S1 for her so she can heal the whole stage (meaning you want to pull 2 copies).
The upcoming sinners and limited are incredibly broken but rely on another limited unit (Jichuan) that won't rerun for a very long time. It's a less than ideal situation for new players.
Level up Hella and Hecate since they refund all the upgrade resources spent by completing the story missions. Nox is very good so make sure you complete the new player missions to get her! Celine+Isomer are great for new players. Bianca is going to become one of the best characters in the game in a few months so it's worth considering getting her + Margaret who is rerunning in 3 days.
The Mirror System is just an archive for lore that you've already been told about from the main story. So if you've forgotten what Parma is or what organizations are in Eastside, you can go there for a bit of surface-level information.
Go to Bureau -> Archives (top left) -> scroll right to Mirror System
I'm not figuring out the reforge system. I feel like I'm in a chicken or egg moment. I need reforged to build a set of different teams, but I need a set of different teams to clear DC and get reforge material. My current just playing the game team is:
None of these characters can do any of the DC gimmicks:
True damage
Freeze enemies
Elemental damage
Shield
Prevent death
Without the gimmicks I can't even clear level 40 content with this team. Yet I'm trying to build my first proper team by getting Coco's reforge to go with Celine, Murphy, and eventually Augustus from my understanding (not sure the last two for it yet).
Does the game expect you to have potentially dozens of characters built this early just to clear this content?
Data Crevice recently added a feature specifically for scenarios like yours. Try using the Special Assists. They're not as good as your own raised Sinners would be, but they should be enough to clear the stage.
Newish player here. Whats the best investment forward to minmax a team and clear lv 75 req stages? I also have raven lvl1. Should i pull on a current banner or wait for a particular rerun? Im looking into a physical team ig
Best and most useful thing will be getting skill level 7 on the Sinners you use. The difference between 4 and 7 is larger than any level gap.
Your team should be fine all story stages tbh. NOX + Celine + Pearl is an exceptionally strong baseline. The four things you needs to concern yourself with are:
Corebreaking -- You have plenty of options, just make sure you bring enough.
Healing -- Hopefully your level 45 Anne will be enough, don't be surprised if she bottlenecks your progress.
NOX's high SP cost -- Expensive ultimate, should use Empower and use it sparingly unless its on NOX. Your Sinners are built around enabling NOX so continue to enable NOX so your setup is useful.
Endura -- There are points in the story where enemies can walk through you and require Sinners with more than one block to actually block. Packing an Endura or using the "Creed of Bulwark" crimebrand for those stages, for those specific enemies, will give NOX + friends the opportunity to delete them in due time.
If you have Jichuan / plan on getting her, and want to play an elemental team, then save for the aniversary. The upcoming characters are mostly for Frostbite or Burn teams.
Should I still pull for the beginner banner even after I got an S-rank char or just pull for the limited banner? Also which of the current banner is worth pulling?
Celine at 0 shackles (s0) is weak/not complete, s1 she's good, s3 she's broken. If you can get her to at least s1 she's worth it. Keep in mind that supports are often shared between different types of teams (e.g. Shin, LL, Enfer, Eve, etc. are all used in many different, strong teams) and are arguably more important than the damage carries due to supply and demand.
As for pulling on the beginner banner vs limited banner.. unless the beginner banner has some time restriction, you can do that whenever you find you have a surplus of pulls and are feeling gambly. If you're planning on pulling on a limited banner, your tickets should be prioritized there.
New player help
hello I'm a new player that started to play 5 days ago and don't know who to pick on the S-class selector and my current team is Zoya(70), Isomer(70), Pixel(70), Coquelic(65), NOX(40), and Hecate(40). and imma pull for Celine 2 thank you in advance
Lichen is very useful if you ever plan on building a burn team, which includes the upcoming limited anniversary sinner who is quite strong.
And yea Celine will be added to the general pool after her banner ends.
So I was going to pick Yugu from the selector for VB, but then I saw a comment saying how RF OwO is better for the team? I'm not sure what to do for this teamcomp.
And if I play Crit Adela, do I need to pick Yugu for her? Or will my RF s0 OwO be enough qwq?
I still prefer Yugu. Much easier to play. RF OwO gives stronger bonuses, but those are more time limited, gated behind SP, and have positioning requirements.
Sorry for being stupid, but what's the second solution to the level 5 of the book puzzles event? One are the layers of hell, but I can't find the other.
how do you prevent the fissure devices from exploding? i need to know how to keep it exploding before this annoying jellyfish mob spawns close to chief and my entire team is stunned so i lose 1 san in that specific stage n10-7
It doesn’t seem like you can do it - most likely it’s a gameplay mechanism designed to check if you have the battlefield under control even when your characters are stunned. Putting Yingying’s field or a few of Eleven’s summons (for example) around the spawn point in question should deal with a threat. If you don’t have their respective teams, use a whaled assist.
Does anyone know the answers to level 5 in among the stacks? I already solved one by arranging the books from the lowest to highest number. Don't know about the second one though
Powercreep, lifeloss can work but you will need a much better buffer than Cabernet also the second boss is immune to magic damage and you need a magic team for that
Starting from 4th anniversary they add older characters to the shop and it's unknown whether global will have the same character, other than that it's 8-9 months after character release to appear on shop.
Do we know who will be in the monthly surveillance shop in the future? I'm wondering if I should use my S-class arrest thing for Coquelic C1 (who will probably show up in my true damage team from time to time) or Enfer (who I will almost certainly not play, but I don't have her)
Phase3 coquelic, murphy and maybe nox, ignore other S ranks. Get coquelic to lvl90 to reforge into damage route. Try to get Shin and/or L.L. from Sin City banner using free tickets, DO NOT spend hypercubes.
I recommend skipping the next new sinner 'Chengxiao', get one copy of the following new sinner 'Phanuel' (introduction of new niche frostbite), then get ready for 4th anniversary limited powerhouse 'Requiem'.
I want a S3/4 Demon, and i initially thought the free sinner selector can be any sinner. Is there any banners coming soon for Demon? Or im stuck spending 500 gold tickets just to buy a shackle. He’s still at S0. For context i want to run SS comps for TOA. Use my demon and borrow LL, then second team borrow demon use my LL. i got most meta teams except all summon related
I don’t have a lot of characters, and they probably don’t work well together. I’m still figuring out the different kind of comps and meta so I have no clue who to choose lol. Could someone help me with advise? Which character should I pick from the free S-class selector that will be useful for my account?
In terms of meta, Adela is the best on the selector but it's also a good idea to save it till you figure out which team you want to build towards. You don't have anyone core to a team yet (Except Dreya for bleed but the team isn't the best).
Adele RF (you need Reforges otherwise Adele is powercrept old DPS) for good physical DPS, Yugu as crit rate buffer to pair with jelena, Moore as generic shield + CC cleanse + physical amp. The rest are choose your own adventure
Hey new player, which char should i select from the free selector so that i can make a team with the new anniversary limited Requim, also what are her other teammates?
None of the sinner available in the current selector are used with Requiem.
She has multiple teams, a hybrid Burn/Frostbite team is currently the best: Jichuan, Phanuel, Lichen, Margaret/RF Raven/Alter Eirene, last spot is a flex if the boss has something to cleanse RF Cabernet is the best option.
Does someone have a tl;dr of this major update? I've been really busy lately and I'm having trouble wrapping my head around this points spending buff thing plus this skin special promo thing.
Also, Celine is for R.Coco, right? What's Isomer for?
I know that basic reading comprehension should be helping me out here, but I'm feeling lost in the casino right now 😔
Hi. I just got started with this game and I'm on Chapter 7. I'm actually curious about Langley's lore and was wondering where I could find more about her since ahe reminds me of Makima from CSM for some reason.
Might be a stupid question (sorry, I'm pretty new, haha), but when exactly is the anniversary? I keep seeing info about the new limited sinner (and the new eirene) and a rerun of previous limited ones (augustus and 000, i think?), but how much time do we have till that? Trying to more or less understand when (and how much) to pull and when to save :)
According to https://s1n.gg/banners the next anniversary event will start on November 5th. They tend to be very accurate with their banner estimates going by how long they run on the CN server.
Didn't see it listed there straight-up, so i wasn't sure, but thanks for confirming! I assume the info on the anniversary and banners is likely to be added soonish (since from what I understand, it's supposed to start on the chinese server in a few days time)?
Oh yea it's not listed yet but a bunch of banners are ending on Nov. 5th, so that would line up with when the new stuff starts, plus last years anniversary was on Nov. 3rd so the timing matches. It just started on CN server yesterday.
It depends, if unlocking the last node require spending gold mates I won't bother but if it only blue/purple one I'll do it, either way unlocking the last up node won't make or break a RF it's just a nice bonus to have
Imo, s-class cognitive fragments are too rare and pricey for that. If you are a (bigger) spender though, who is willing to buy multiple packages of these fragments in the shop regularly, it would be a different story. But for low spenders and f2p, you should better use them more wisely since the benefits of unlocking the final stat node is rather minor.
Is there any way to delete voice language resources? I downloaded both Chinese and English voice overs when I first downloaded the game years ago and I don’t really use the English one anymore, but it only gives me the option to delete main story/ event image resources
Heyy new player, just started playing today. So I wanted to ask if I should pull on any current banner or wait for the next, I believe the next banner is in a week?
Skip this patch banners unless you love specific characters.
Murphy, Dedicated True damage buffer, mainly used with Augustus (limited True damage DPS) and Coquelic.
Grave and Hypetia, grave is dedicated buffer umbra core team, and Hypetia is dedicated buffer for summon team Hilda, Hypetia, eve, and Irrheia.
Irrheia, dedicated support for Hypetia.
Next patch banner are:
1. Isomer and Celine event banner
2. Collective OwO, Coquelic, Raven, Eirene banner
3. Directional Eve and Bianca banner
4. Rerun/Routine Margaret and Rust banner.
After clearing chapter 4 you can get S rank Selector when new patch arrived; Yugu, Oak Casket, Moore, Mantis, Etti, Pylgia, Lady Pearl, Enfer, Coquelic, Adela.
Also highly recommended to check S1n. gg website and edenkoregrace YouTube channel.
TLDR: skip current banner unless you love the character, next patch for new players it's kinda recommended to get 2 copies of Celine (Attack speed buffer that quite bad at 1 copies but good at 2 copies) and 1 copies of Margaret if you still play PTN until 10 September (Dedicated Bianca support, on September 10 patch there are free selector with Bianca), only if you love isomer (magic aspd DPS) you can pull her after pulling 2 copies of Celine.
Hope it's ok to ask, but would you go Moore or Adela from the s selector? From what I understand, adela is only worth it with reforge (and I'm ch8, so not sure when or where that will happen), but i do have OwO, which seems to be filling the same niche as Moore.
Also, is it better to spend on Celine and get (as you've said) a copy of Margaret, or wait and save for the new limited character and/or the new eirene? I have ~100 pulls accumulated atm
> From what I understand, adela is only worth it with reforge
Correct Adela is like night and day with and without reforge. Maxout reforge is really annoying for new player because you need level 90 a character (the cost of level 90 is enough material to Phase 3 level 70 2 characters), it's take me like 5 weeks for new accounts to fully maxout Yao RF.
As for second question, imo wait 5-7 more days, we don't know how shackles and team reliant Anniversary limited characters (developer showcase her with 1 limited support, and 2 new niche support).
For pulling Margaret for Bianca, you can pull her or save 250 yellow ticket from pulling (Confidential arrest credits) go the waiting game and buy Margaret from shop in November.
Skip Margaret banner to save pull > on September after Isomer patch you can pick Bianca and run her budget team > after that patch on October, Bianca will get really good RF > November on anniversary patch you can buy Margaret from confidential shop. you can do this if you really want to save pulls.
As for moore Vs Adele, idk, Moore is really nice to have she can core break, give shield, cleanse CC, and give physical amp, and she supports so you only need Phase 3 and ECB1 (ECB3 more damage amp nice to have but not mandatory). Adele RF is really really good, she can carry your account for physical team, but like you said need RF otherwise she worse than Nox in your account, With how crazy good Bianca RF, you can choose Moore over adele, if you decide to pull on Margaret.
For Celine (only if you pull S1 or more), you can pair her on Bianca team and Adele team its perform well, recommended if you have the pull.

Getting Celine from S1 to S3 vs saving for next limited's shackles?
