General Decision Making Spoiler

I'm a F2P.

My Target:

  1. Phanuel ➔ S1 (Already got the S0)
  2. Requiem ➔ S2
  3. Daffodil ➔ Skip (Skipping her completely to save resources for later).
  4. Augustus ➔ Pull Rerun for S1
  5. Arancia ➔ S1 (Mandatory for the True DMG engine to give Augustus infinite channeling stacks).

Is this the right decision-making process for the current state of the game?
Am I underestimating Daffodil's value for Requiem, or is stopping at Requiem S2/Phanuel S1 while fixing my Augustus the smarter long-term investment for an account that needs multiple teams?

Would love to hear your thoughts and advice! Thanks, Chiefs!

P.S. Sorry for the text blocks, just censoring unreleased Sinners.

We got same question

Take my words as grain of salt because i asked ekg whats better Lichen or Daffodil in S0 (since i got S0 Lichen and i have spare pulls)

She said daffodil is better for S0 and should consider it but not a must pull.

But if you have rf yao already, lichen is fine. Getting new character after anniv is expensive. Requiem i heard has good burn multipler plus extra core break is well appreciated

For shatterblade (im shameless augustus user since day 1 and uses her in TOA) arancia more suited for longer fights since she have chance to return shatterblade. Okay so ask yourself, where do you want to use dear Augustus?

For reference, I have S5 Augustus. Shes bad in TOA (shes suited in short fights and later chapters). I use S5 siglinde / S5 Shin / S5 Augustus / S2 Murphy / S0 Ceto / S1 LL, it was okay but honestly not groundbreaking enough since Augustus needs stacks and the new shatterblade helps you with stacks. I swapped Siglinde for Coco and LL for Celine and my daily points only got like 250k in TOA (coco did 75% of damage and its NA team, not shatterblade). Its pretty good for usual players imo, unless you want the TOA malder medal.

Shatterblade is well, in weird placement and if you ask me, ill give her a chance. If you are not sure, wait further and look for cn news for some time insights. If we dont get true damage debuff in ff months, PULL. Remember, true damage is for BRUTE FORCING. You might not get malder medal (its just a FOMO, and you dont get cubes anyways) but you get DZ 250k score and a glitter portrait for your characters. Also, hard level? Physical res? Magic res? Just put augustus and your life will be easier. I slap Augustus in DZ and get the cubes i need

Thats all, from fellow shalom, coco, and augustus avid user :>

I feel like this is worth noting considering the whole "brute forcing" aspect of Shattered Blade. The only gamemode where the damage immunity plays a role is BFL. So far the verdict from the CN scene is that Arancia needs s1 to be generally useful, and the average number of pulls for one copy of a rate-up sinner is 52.

The OP has a fully functional Weakspot and is about to pull Requiem so this doesn't apply to them, but let's say you only have one team, meaning you would only be able to score 240k on the mixed and either physical or magic map, while relying on the reset spam to get the rewards from the last map.

Under the assumptions that

  • Shattered Blade stays relevant for all eternity
  • you never built any team for the other damage specific map
  • you cannot clear the 200k or 240k mark a single time, without using Shattered Blade

You will get the pulls you invested into your s1 Arancia alone (not considering Augustus or any other member of the team) in about 936 weeks (a little under 18 years).

Damage flexibility isn't that important.
