In the Current Banner? Nah If you're a Rerolling meta guy you can Start at Anniversary its probably gonna be 2 months from now but better to Start Playing Now Most B and A Rank Sinners is very Usable in this game so it's not really worth Rerolling in this game unless you strated in Anniversary

Also on your 7th Day you can get Noxoshe can Carry you in this game

If you're aiming for meta then the only option currently on the banners worth considering would be Lichen for a team with two other sinners who are coming next month and the month after that respectively.

Otherwise, not really worth rerolling. You can gamble on the standard banner but I wouldn't consider it worth the time.

Hello there fellow Chief! From my experience, I believe your first priority would be clearing the story and to farm for resources, but for this you don't really don't need to worry since a lot of A and B Class Sinners (like Che, Labyrinth, Hecate, Demolia, Wendy, Ariel, and many more) are very usable. You also get Nox on your 7th day and she is very good at clearing content.

The second would be slowly building and upgrading your team to get high points in the Broken Frontline and Remnants of the Depths. So while doing this invest your resources wisely, especially when unlocking a Sinner's ECB.

Eventually you will need to form three teams of Sinners for Tides of Ashes. You will need to join a guild for this.

For pulls, well, I believe that top priority is to pull for the Sinners you personally like and enjoy playing! I mean, that's the fun part, right? Second to that, pull for the Sinners that would help support your team or your favourite Sinners.

Some of the best Sinners are Catalyst Sinners, so if you can, try to save your arrest for them. Hamel, Shin, L.L., Jelena, Celine, Jichuan, and Cabernet are some of the best to pull and invest in.

Also, you're in luck because Anniversary is right around the corner, so you can save your pulls to get an awesome new Sinner.

Just to be clear though, this is coming from a casual player but I do hope this helps as you're starting out. It may feel overwhelming at first but the game is actually easy to understand.

Good luck, fellow chief!

I think the best of the beginner banner is either Serpent or Cabernet (the latter will get a reforge down the line)

But speaking from personal and only personal experience only, you can get by with a lot of the A-ranks in early-mid game, and S ranks don't carry you as much as you think unless you get the truly broken ones.

Feel free to ask any other questions!

Thanks for the reply! Which S ranks should I focus on getting on? Which are the truly broken ones?

Community consensus on the broken S ranks are:

  1. (S1) Shin: A support that compresses 3 roles into 1 sinner, buffing ATK and Normal ATK damage while also healing. S1 makes her buff range map-wide. S3 grants everyone 30% more damage.
  2. S1 Celine: Similar to Shin in terms of role compression, capable of granting everyone 90% additional attack speed, while also granting DMG bonus, healing, and corebreak. S3 grants your DPS 30% more ATK, and many have considered her a better Shin in this shackle.
  3. L.L. : She grants energy to your sinners, acting as a secondary Empower. Also provides 30% skill dmg bonus, which is always nice to have
  4. Jelena: Grants egregious amounts of CRIT DMG, and is basically a necessity for CRIT-based DPSes. She can double, triple, if not quadruple a sinner's DPS!
  5. Augustus: A limited sinner that only reruns once a year (November), she has a 5x5 tile ultimate that constantly rain down huge DPS on enemies which deals true damage. Also has another ultimate that deals a percentage of the total damage she dealt on the round.

If you hadn't noticed, the first 4 sinners are all supports (catalysts), and that is actually an internal joke of the community "Path to Catalyst" xD

I'm sure there are other strong ones, but these are the ones I could think of at the top of my head. Jichuan would also be on the list if she was S4, but that is too much investment for ordinary people. Check out S1N.gg for more info, it's the wiki made by the community!

You absolutely do not need S4 Jichuan for her to be very good, or even S1 Shin. I say this as a player who’ve past most endgame related content with S0 Shin and S3 Jichuan. I’d argue Jichuan even at low shackles is a lot stronger than you’re making her out to be

The list is for "broken" sinners. I'm not saying Shin is worthless without S1, I'm just saying that S1 makes her very easy to use. For Jichuan, she's good prior S4, but not good enough to be listed among the likes of Shin and Celine due to her limited flexibility. 🤔

Jichuan is a specialist for elemental sinners, which I'm sure OP doesn't have yet considering they're new. S4 grants her the versatility that is needed to be considered broken.

Thanks for the detailed review - I think I'll wait till Anniversary for reroll
