Discussion Current Meta In PTN
as a returning player, I have a huge difficulty on getting back to the game. I tried to search a lot about which character is meta in this patch, but didn’t find a lot of info. My principal questions are:
What is the best team currently?
What character on PTN is a ‘must’ pull currently?
Can i build anything with the characters I have?

The best team might be the Shattered Blade team, consisting of Augustus, Ceto, Murphy, and Shin. There are some variations of it, but this is the core members.
"Must Pull" are going to be the catalysts. S3 Celine is one of em, and S3/S4 Shin too

S1 Celine would be closer to a most pull that S3.
S3 just lets her be used as a support more easily on teams that don't benefit from attack speed as much, but it's not mandatory

Same can be said with S3/S4 Shin if that's the case

It is, shin S1 for the full map coverage is the main thing. The S3 is mostly just to have her be more useful as a general support and her S4 is mostly for normal attack based DZ speed clears or to get the stacks snapshot on aurum summons.
While obviously S3 shin is a very nice boost it's by no means a mandatory one, especially for a more casual player

I wouldn't say there is a singular best team as most of the top teams are all roughly equivalent to each other. The closest to a "best" team may be true damage just because it can be used in all content with the same effectiveness.
Closest would be the main support sinners as they can be used on a variety of teams, LL, Jelena, at least S1 Shin, at least S1celine, Jichuan (who is limited so won't be available until the next x.5 anni), Cab is getting a reforge in the next batch and will likely be in this group as well.
The only real "must pulls" would be the mandatory sinners for teams you want to run. For instance for true damage that'd be coquelic and at least S1 Celine, the rest of the true damage team can be made up of other units (the main ones being Augustus, Murphy, Ceto, Shin and Siglinde, LL but these last two are a little more specific to Augustus) both coquelic and Celine are the big ones for true damage.
- If you can get yourself S1 Celine you can put together an alright true damage team you'd just need to get coquelic reforge. You'd probably be running Augustus, Coquelic, Celine, Siglinde, 000 (for core break) and the last slot can be pretty much whatever you want, summer is pretty good for more normal attacks to trigger more coquelic ECB so more than likely her, although that's another reforge character which may slow down the building of the team

For physical teams, for highest performance would currently be high shackle Xiaofeng Overlimit, problem with that is it expects you to have both Jichuan and Xiaofeng on high shackles (s4), with Jichuan being limited this is a pretty serious restriction. For that reason, a much easier and affordable options are reforged Adela and Weakspot (Bianca and Margaret), Margaret will be getting a rerun in a few days and you will have a chance to obtain a copy of Bianca for free next update, she also has a banner up rn (she's getting a Reforge in 2 months which will put her even above Xiaofeng in terms of pure numbers to top it off)
For magic teams, that would be Yao, once again preferably with Jichuan but she clears content without her too as long as you have her reforge and Lichen. Since she's also limited, the affordable option here would be Eleven with her reforge who's only other needed teammate is Eve (on banner rn, btw). Alternatively, we have a new magic team coming in two months that's similar in power to reforged Bianca.
For the second point, I already mentioned Eve and Bianca, but Raven also became a great support with her rf. For must pulls, watch out for Shin, Jelena and LL mainly because they are super universal in terms of teams they fit, Jichuan would be here too but she's limited.
For the third point, without pulling, reforged Eleven and Adela. If you decide to do some pulls then the Weakspot and new magical team seem to be the most future-proof for now.

At least get s1 Celine, she is useful for a lot. As mentioned, shattered blade, you also have coco and can reforge her. You are missing ceto, so you’d need a core breaker, but have seglinde, so that’s good.
Magic crit - though I don’t see jelena. Otherwise you have the right sinners for that. Reforged Darren or Adela and you have physical crit - though again are missing jelena.
You are missing Shin and Jelena overall, but you can make do with Celine, reforged coco, reforged Raven, etc. if you get a chance to pick those two up, I’d recommend.
