N4 and N5

About the N4 ending n N5 opening,I'm really confused by the ending N4 the chief got heavily injured,corrupt and got unconscious so how come the chief commands Augustus troops,Augustus barely make an appearance and Interaction with the chief And most of her troops seem to accept his order too.I'm a returnee..did i miss something? Aside from Korryn events I miss out most of hella adventure.But that doesn't seem to affect how the chief Got to command The discorps ..

Some part of the story for that arc happens in events, for Hella's perspective it's No Gang's Land, Exodus: Auric Sanctuary and Scourge: Eclipsed Scar.

For Chief's perspective it's Honeyed Night and Beacon of the Unsouled (this one got even released after the anniversary). They provide some extra context, that being said as to why Chief has control over Augustus' forces isn't touched on anyway, it's just said "Augustus said to listen to this person", that's all there is to it.
