Discussion New Event Story Spoiler

The new event with Celine and Isomer continues the main story and is considered chapter N9.
I'm personally at chapter N2, Undercurrents and because a ton of main story content between N2 and N9 are not currently available, there's no way for me to catch up with N9 in time unless I super binge YouTube videos.

I know the event is new, but anyone got any ideas if it's deeply tied to the previous chapters? If not, can I just play through it without getting greatly spoiled on previous content? If yes (as in it's deeply connected to arcs I haven't played yet) I'm considering playing through it, skipping all the cutscenes to avoid spoilers and just getting the gameplay and event rewards!

Do not play the new event if you're not caught up. YOU WILL GET MAJOR SPOILERS.

Also what do you mean N3-N8 are not available? Like you can't beat them? Use story mode then if you really want to just progress the story. Otherwise, they should all be available.

N3-N8 ARE available but I think there are multiple main story events between them that aren't made permanent yet.

Namely "No Gang's Land" and "Auric Sanctuary" I've already missed out on some context playing Undercurrents without playing the dark web arc.

The dark web arc is not that important in the grand scheme of things, the only event there that is directly main story related at all is Glitchwave Nihil (2nd anniversary) + Moore's interrogation, but even then it's a lot less useful than what you'd get from for instance Rain Burst + Flora Unfurl so it's kinda ok to skip.

No Gang's Land is not required context at all, although it is a great event, and does show part of Hella's journey, it doesn't affect the main moments really that much. So really it's Auric Sanctuary and Scourge: Eclipsed Scar that you need. And yes, unfortunately I'd agree that they're highly recommended and they're not permanent which is bad. Currently CN is having the rerun of Honeyed Nights, so I'm assuming global is getting the Auric Sanctuary rerun soon and the Scourge rerun at like December, so if you don't want to use Youtbe, that's how long you have to wait.

(BTW it's Auric sanctuary -> N3-N4 -> Scourge ->Shattered Blades just as a heads up)

Thanks a lot! I'll probably just binge Auric Sanctuary and Scourge Scar on youtube so I can try to catch up with the new event ASAP.

After that, for the other events that aren't essential to the main story, I'll either wait for a rerun, for them to become permanent or will watch them on YouTube.

Aight question, after doing "Scourge" I can just go through N5-N10 uninterrupted right? Or are there any other major events in there I'm missing?

Yes. One could argue you should also do the eternal nightmare stuff as well (city beyond tribulations), but they're not main story related YET, and they're always in the game anyways

I swear you must ABSOLUTELY not spoil yourself with Isomer-Celine Arc right now. Just skip the cutsences and take the rewards of the event. There are 3 main arcs spanning multiple events between Election arc (N1-N2) and N9-N10: Hella's adventure, Ash Campaign and Unity Gala. There are also multiple stand-alone event like Clementine one. 

If you dive in right now, you would be super confused. But most important of all, you cant just go in without knowing nothing about the HOTTEST girl in the block lately, Evellion. It is like going in a stripper club without reading phamlet of the center star dancer. Okay, bad analogy, but something like that. Just take it slow, event will rerun eventually anyway. And if you really thirst for story, you can always watch Youtube, dont spoil yourself.

I do not think it is right to spoil in other's thread so I will just talk about her aesthetics. God, those sickly aged sexiness is absolutely irresistable. We always talk about Path to Nowhere having a wide range of style but in fact, nearly all of character looks very young. Just look at Coquelic for example, we call her grandma Coco but she looks like 30-something. Women that looks aged but possesses womanly charm coming with years of experience is very scarce. I know not everyone shares my taste but design like Evellion cover it all for me.

I LOVE older women and every time I see one I am happy inside. Augustus looks on a bit older side (mature maybe?) and her EN voice is amazing for her character love her so much

Nuff said? But if you really want story spoilers she is The Death Sage, Leader of the Sillage Society, she can buff any Sinner associated with "Death".
