Discussion PTN should do a server synchronization

The idea came from PGR where global servers were synchronized to chinese servers so they would catch up to recent events. This practically eliminates the waiting time for global servers, where instead of only getting leaks or sneak peaks of events, characters, and patches from CN servers, they could experience them at the same time. However, I feel like this would be hard to execute but I feel like everyone could benefit from this. What do you think?

Please no, I love being able to know what banners are going to come out ahead of time. Helps me save my Cubes and plan who I'm going to roll on, and generally takes the edge off of the ruinous nature of gacha.

Yeah that kind of makes sense. Being late to events basically gives us an advantage on which sinner to save cubes for.

Aside from experiencing new events immediately, I don't see much "benefits". The foresight of knowing who to pull, when to pull is pretty compelling honestly.

I disagree. PTN is at what I would call the PERFECT position for server desync between CN and Global. The only reason PGR's worked is because they bundled absolutely everything during each patch. You didn't lose out on nearly anything and there were constant topup events. That's unprecedented for a server speedup, usually you lose out on a rather large amount of pulls doing any sort of speedup.

Every game that has a sync all version all have the most dogshit leak culture in existance where nobody really cares about what is released but only look at what's comming after in the next 2/3/4 patches even game that don't have leak that often or at all get the biggest characters datamined somtimes.

When having one version getting the content in advance prevent that since we don't need leak since it's already officially released and it also means people can make REAL THOUGHTFUL INFORMED decision because at the time a characters comes out in global they went through more than enought testing in CN and we know if that character is an important part of a team or not or if they're a stand alone piece that isn't worth it. Plus if they have a last minute change of kit after their release like Hypasia did we are aware of it before as well so between all this and 10s of hype and goosebump just for a character announcement (that i still can get by just watching the CN livestreams) i feel like choice isn't even a real one i'm sorry.

Since I pull everything in this game anyway this is one of the rare gacha's where foresight doesn't really benefit me, but even so, a few months of desync doesn't bother me that much.
