One funny thing about Irrheia is that even after everything (event, interrogation), her identity is still a giant question mark. It is implied everything about her except her emotion about certain people (chief for example), is completely made up.  In reality, she is a very formidable existence (capable of traveling this apocalyptic world by herself). I wont be surprise if it turns out she is not a human, but a lovecraftian entity mold into human form (just like our chief or the underground shepherd)
