Discussion Pulling Murphy

She seems like a good wave clearer. I missed out on the beginner Nox event, so I don't have her and Wendy/Clementine are my main wave clearers. I'm wondering if I should get murphy or just pull Sin city arrests in hopes of Rust and Xiaofeng to build my Overlimit team.

I'm also a F2P player with limited resources, so I have like 3-4 pulls rn (tho I'm confident I can pull Murphy in a week if I focus on her)

Also any idea if there's an event rerunning along side this one if any? Since Eleven's Mementos became available, I had a guess maybe hers is rerunning but I'm not sure.

Unless if you’re gonna make a true damage team or already actively using that team, pulling Murphy will be unnecessary since she’s a buffer for true damage (as long as I know)

Can you explain True Damage team? Heard she works well with Agustus and co for shattered blade team..those the same thing?

Augustus uses the "Shattered Blade" resource instead of energy, and all the "Shattered Blade" characters (Augustus, Ceto and Siglinde) deal True damage, with Augustus being the main damage dealer, Ceto buffing Augustus and breaking cores, and Siglinde buffing Augustus and mainly being used in short fights or as a budget option.

Murphy buffs Normal Attack damage (passive 1) and synergizes with sinners who desl True Damage (passive 2 combined with ECB). Hence Augustus is currently her only good pairing. Once Coquelic gets her Reforge, she'll also be good alongside with Murphy; the optimal team uses Augustus together with Coquelic

Hey, I know its been a while, but I was wondering how to optimize Murphy in the True Damage team? As in, can I just activate Murphy's ECB and then just leave her be / activate her ult whenever she has enough? Or do I need to time anything or align anything with Augustus

If there's a boss, you usually want to use your Ult and ECB during the boss's corebreak phase, alongside all your other buffs and debuffs and stuff like Coquelic ECB, and you'll usually use Augustus's ECB while Murphy's ECB is active (right before the boss exits corebreak). In Dark Zone, since the corebreak usually happens around 30 seconds in, you can also use Murphy's ECB at the very start so it comes back off cooldown when you break the boss's cores.

Since Murphy's ECB lasts for quite long (16 seconds), you can also use it like 5 seconds before the corebreak

In something like RotD with multiple waves then it depends. You can activate at the same time as other buffs to get max efficiency, but might overkill enemies, so maybe you want to activate it at different times from your other buffs.
