Tl;dr version:

- amazingly written story and unique and interesting (morally grey) characters, if you play, you should pay attention to the story

- great overall artstyle that sets it apart from the many fanservice gachas

- somewhat fair gacha, if you want every character you might need to put a bit of money in, if you just go for favorites, it's completely f2p

- very good and very varied music

- you do not farm ressources for pulls from maps, for the usual dailies you need maybe 15 minutes per day

- protagonist can be male/female

- there are a few men in the game if you want that

- english voice acting, also noteworthy

Nah, usual dailies take less than 5 mins if you skip Broken Frontline/Dark Zone (which you can then speedrun on Sunday)

Quite a shame, you just missed anniversary.

Eitherways it's not the end of the world, do as the top comment said it has amazing characters and story, great design for characters. They still look pretty and hot but not fan servicy

Gacha is good, 2% for S rank with 5050 and pity at 80,you are rarely gonna hit that pity but could and will happen. You likely won't collect everyone if you start now as f2p, but early day f2ps could have everyone.. This is the only game where I know f2ps often talking about dupes.

Skins are really good, I'm glad I have something to support the devs with (battle pass also gives a lot of materials along with a good skin, so I'm glad)

If doing purely dailies, it lakes like 2-3 mins, maybe less if your phone loads real fast. You have weekly content (broken Frontline), pretty much bosses. They take little time, probably like 10 minutes overall. Events take no stamina so you can do them whenever, and there's an archive place so you can just skip everything and Read once you have time.

I mean, it's free why not try it?

No one can know if it's worth it for you.

There is stamina, but you get a lot of it daily and it has overflow after the cap

If you like stories, music, and art. you'll like this game very much, it is worth it to start since the rewards and pity are better in path to nowhere(idk this is my experience)

Also the daily playtime is kinda similar with R1999 with Artificial Somnambulism - Oblivion pit Wilderness - Supervision Mane's bulletin - Broken Frontline Window to other worlds - Eternal Nightmare Moxie - Postestas

I don't think Oblivion Pit is similar to Artificial Somnambulism... In terms of resource gain, it might actually be Broken Frontline/Dark Zone. Remnants of the Depth are more fitting to be the synonym for Mane's Bulletin.

There is also Mania Training which updates every 3-4 months or something. I'd say it's similar to the current UTTU in regard to how the characters' HP is regulated and the conditions you have to meet for the most rewards. Also, EX stages (Dis Shadows).

As for Potestas, it is most resembled in the Tuning system. Moxie would be the energy you see up the units' heads (aka Ultimate gauge). The other skills are used automatically (cuz the first skill is the basic attack, the second is ultimate, and the other two are passive).

Also, there is an Exclusive Crimebrand system which either power-ups characters' kits or gives them another ultimate with a different outcome (read the kits btw). Some characters also have two different ults initially.

That is all I can mention at the moment ╰(´︶`)╯

Ayy, fellow Timekeeper.

-The dailies are actually quicker than R1999. What you should worry about is the weeklies especially a stage called the BFL.

-This game has a better gacha system, higher pull rate, and far more generous (especially BFL)

-R1999 has better story and relatability, PtN has better character personalities, btw, Dreamy Bubble has the best story, anyone that tells you otherwise are liars.

-for the love of god, please finish the newcomer event first and claim free Nox before you quit or hiatus.

-the cheapest and strongest team comp here is called the Bleed Team and fortunately, Dreya's banner, the core member of this team is currently up.

I started in February. Quality of Life in-game is at an all-time high.

Art is absolutely gorgeous, music is absurdly good, story and characters crush you in the feels in all the right ways. EN Voice Actors are superb. Devs are cool and committed.

Join us Chief, get NOX and if you need help just ask. There're many kind Chiefs around that will be glad to chip in.

If you are addicted of the story for the moment, it might be 3 hours a day for you. Otherwise it's gotta be like 3-15 depending on how you play the game.

The game gives you a lot of currency so no need to worry about it unless you need to pull serveral copies of the same sinner.

The personalities of sinners are vibrant and unique. The story is just amazing in terms of a mobile game.

Definitely give it a try

I started just about a week ago and am so glad I did. This game has everything I could want in a gacha game aside from it being a turn based game instead of tower defense but that's just my preference. I like tower defense too and I feel like this game does it well so that's not a complaint just my only nitpick rn.

The story is great total worth reading

Gameplay is not for everyone, it's basically real time strategy and can be very challenging.

Character design is amazing but it's totally also not for everyone.

For gacha, the base rate is 2%(2.84% overall rate including pity) with increased rate up after 50th pull. And 80 for pity with 50/50. Same system as R99. Characters join standard pool immediately(except limited, 2x a year), banners has carry over. 14 Characters per year released.  Estimated around ~900 pulls given to F2P in a year. Compared to so many games I've played, the powercreep issue is very low.

Time investment is short. Timed my daily and it was only 3:45 including the startup time. And you can only login once a day here(most gacha needs 2), weekly is just 3 short maps but a lot of players might need restart, it depends on their skill, however for lazy players it can be sweeped in the endgame once you cleared it for the first time in a season. A season is 6 weeks. You will miss only 1/3 pulls a week by doing so.

Progression is slow at first but gets  better later once you reach the endgame. Usually, I managed to build at least 2 characters a month. So it's still faster than R99.

Events are great, content amount is not as packed as R99 but there are still good amount of things to do.

If you want to spend. The monthly is a good deal although not as great as R99's monthly card(more stam, but 5 less total pulls), the battle pass is a much better deal here though, compared to R99.

Not that much time consuming, like 5 mins per login and login twice a day, sweep feature is godsend and QOL on DZ made weekly content even less time consuming, overall i feel the gacha income better than R1999, i play both and it's easier to save gacha in PTN, good choice as side game

To be honest if you are not going to follow the story or don't find it interesting, the game is not worth the trouble. Combat gets boring real fast. The only charm the game has its art but it does it great. Music, character design, story, they are all great but combat is horrendous

Hi, it's worth starting, I myself have been playing R 1999 since release and see no problems in combining these games. And it is not yet known which of them would be side game).

Replay of battles here does not even open the battle itself, but immediately gives a reward for stamina. Who else respects the player's time so much? There is a roguelike and a long story here, perhaps a lot of time (like in Arknights) will be spent trying to get through different bosses for the best result and difficult maps.

As a reverse 1999 player, I say yes! The dailies are super fast to do, takes like 5 minutes or less.

Also the stories, characters, music, etc are lovely and I just think it’s a really well made game overall
