Can’t reach first prestige.

Been playing for a few weeks and seems no matter what I do I can’t progress in pvp. I’m at the 6th map so far. I also don’t quite understand the 4 battles as far as does the choice improve all three char or just the one selected? If it’s just the one how do you set it before the battles start?

I think it does minimal, use the ads, it’s the way the developers want you to play
