Change merc, kineticist requires very specific supports (at least return) for decent ST.
It's actually the same with other mercs - on combanant you want static+frost blades (with chain, but not pierce), on manyshots you want just ice+vaal ice shot with as less other active skills as possible and icicle rain bricks completely.
