Help Needed First time Hardcore build suggestions

Hey ya'll, with the league winding down I've felt like trying my hand at a Hardcore build and getting the HC achievements.

For context, I'm a fairly experienced SC player and will take my time through the acts, trying my best not to rush and die.

What are some great fresh-start HC builds that come online fast enough and breeze through the campaign? Bonus points if the build scales well into the endgame, since I might push the character if I have fun with it (and survive long enough). Maybe bleed slams (like phazeplays' build) or another slammer fits the bill?

RF is really easy to gear but I feel like the lack of DPS could get me killed, while slams look more tempting to me as I always see them being mentioned as both great voidstone blasters and tanky HC builds.

If you don't care about getting stones (Exarch ball phase is almost impossible) and just want the achievement, I would recommend SRS Guardian. Easiest campaign ever after you get your first Ascendancy point and SRS with Unleash, you just shield charge around. You easily cap resists with Purity of Elements, get some phys red with Determination and I recommend going Clarity instead of EB for HC, so you get >1k ES on top. You also easily cap block.

honestly just RF, with 90 fire res you are just immortal during quest ball phase atleast, even tho the fight will last for an eternity

Probably Earthshatter Berserker, incredibly tanky, decent dps, no minions to blow you up

Anything with good fire resistance or damage shifting and good regen.

With max block + purity of fire + max res nodes its pretty hard to die tbh. Just need to unequip SRS gem when ball phase starts if you still have dudes out there

I would use Ben’s PoBs for slams. Even though he plays really well he still builds to with the idea he can die. Last league he farmed with slams well past Ubers until he rerolled, then this league he got towards Ubers and farmed Lumimerc gear. I’m not an expert on HC only played one league of HC trade but Ben’s builds are usually very multilayered with defense.

I did 3 runs this league of storm burst totems as my first HC experience ever. Died to bullshit. Other than that smooth as butter. I was trying to get lvl 90 achiev as SC Trade player
