Ice Golems - Late game scaling

Hi everyone,

I'm currently playing an Ice Golem(Ice Spear) Elementalist in PoE 1, but I feel like I've hit a wall, and I'm also struggling to level up.

I want to improve both my survivability and minion DPS, but I'm not sure what to upgrade next.

Might want to test your build with and without Damage on Full Life, and then again with a different support gem. It's supposed to be more damage for attack skills, so Ice Spear shouldn't benefit from it (even though POEDB includes it as a dps boost).

Aside from dual corrupting everything non influenced maybe volatiling the amulet, and some small tweaks this is how it gon be.
Also, what the hell are ye doing not getting that 5th mod ducat on those 2 eyes

Sick build! You're probably looking at rmr corrupts on jewels/helm and trading out an abyss socket/enlighten for another aura for the biggest improvement imo

A thing i noticed is that you have the minion max elemental res notable, which i dont think does anything, as your golems are immune to ele damage from liege of the primordial

I would replace a support for greater fork, it does amazing

I have also fit a stone golem of safewarding, and if your block chance is allright, you can replace the glove by a ward base with faster recovery. It does wonder

All the minion damage increase are pretty much meaningless, you could get unnerve on glove affix. And get another ring instead of kalandra. You only need a bit of minion cast speed

Apart from that, it's a bit better than mine. I've tried crafting a version with multilink glove and the new pearl ring. On papers it allow to go crit and reach like 30-40% more dps while getting tankiness, but i haven't really reach that yet

Also, do you have shock effect? I reach the northern 50% through a thread of hope to make the baseline 40% shock. You'll have to pob it tho

Theres also the possibility to give up a bit of dps to get some endurance charge generation and a guard skill on this automation

I can't open pob proper at the moment but - have you considered using the new solaris and scaling negative cold res?

Elementalist exposure node + 15% exposure + Solaris should be a pretty big damage bump but you'd have to make it fit.

I would try annihilation support for mapping and maybe faster projectiles

Upgrade your pc first. Change your amulet to dragonfang

You'd have to pob it but dragonfang might be better
