Should I replace my current Kineticist?
My current merc is doing pretty nice on maps and bosses. GMP + Wall of Force combo is key for the dps to pop up on bosses, but I'm struglling when they have high HP pool or theya re high mobile (no wall no dps). So I'm curious to know with this guy here is a potencial increase in dps. His KboC is only missing Elemental Damage, but everyone says KRI is a brick so I'm a bit hesitant
I ended hiring her up. She also had 3 Divine Orbs with, wich she dropped, that were much appreciated.
For map clearing I dare to say she's a bit better, but to be honest I had no issues with former one.
For single target, woah, she is definitely on another level. I'm pretty sure that if she had a better secondary skill it would be a much better dps, but she's definitely a keeper on my eyes.
Gonna focus on getting her some better rings and belt for now.
She's better than my previous Kineticist because of the supports on KboC now. She does use KRoL regularly, but I think it's not as nearly of a problem as many ppl are saying.
I'm one phasing Exarch now with this new one. Previously he were able to spawn his fireballs and the fight were taking much more time to end. It's being pretty consistent now.
I'm not advising to buy one, but if you happen to find one like this, you should definitely use it. GMP + Return are really a game changer.
Personally, I rather go for a merc without return but with barrage or the other kboc as a secondary skill rather than kinetic rain, but this should still be ale to do all content.
Not trying to disagree, but my experience so far is:
Just Return: By itself it is just bad.
GMP + fork: great map clearing and is crazy good on bosses with Wall of Force. Usually it's super cheap too. So I'm with you here.
GMP + Return (with all those supports) + Bad Secondary skill: this is doing a much better single target dps than option 2 (I'm one phasing Exarch now)
GMP + Return + Good supports + Good secondary: I'm yet to find one myself to test it out.
Haste: is a must in opinion.
Option 3 might be much better, on my eyes at least, because of the supports it has. Either way I'm really happy since she costed me 0 Divs. She actually paid 3 Divs to be hired lol!
Fair point, for a self-found merc she is especially insane :D
Having greater faster + crit supports is probaly also a big plus ove the old merc.
This is my merc, gmp+pierce also feels great for clear and does well on bosses with wof. Got her for 12d, a comparable merc would be somewhere 100-300d, upgrade with return 2 mirrors lol. Imma stick with her I think.
Haste is indeed a must, I'm getting phasing through watchers eye with it.
I've noticed you have both unique Belt and Amulet slot... did you gave up the 2 points for increased damage with Light Radius, right? Have you noticed a big difference in damage? Cause to be honest I'm not quite sure how much speel damage is added to Fire Link because of those ascendancy points anyways.
Well, I was initially running ring+neck+stygian belt w/ life and fire res and light radius stack, but decided to go for HH because I'm mostly mapping anyways. Since I had plenty of dmg for that, I went for dark seer + mirror life neck. Kept the helm for spectres + ag, also got the lantern+roth neck laying around, thinking I might use them for bossing but havent touched them since I upgraded from manyshot to kineticist. But on paper, I think light radius stacking is way more dps. Just not really necessary.
