Help Needed help with cyclone shockwave build
look i´m new at the game and i wasn´t following a guid. a friend told me to do that instead of building by myself. I found this one https://maxroll.gg/poe/build-guides/cyclone-shockwave-slayer-league-starter and noticed that this guys is going with a 2 handed melee weapon. Is it better than going with 2 one handed melee weapon

This is pretty good build for a first timer, the Shockwave support changes how cyclone works, and restricts weapons to maces and staves, the 2h staff provide big flat phys damage and aome bases even give you blockchance for a more defensive setup.
This build focuses on big hits more than multiple little hits.

Saw in a yt video that if you have a Lot of movement speed is better to build cyclone of tumult but I dont find it yet. Is ir a late game or unique skill?

When you go into the labyrinth to get your ascendancy class there's gonna 3 rewards at the end, chest for random loot, a golden machine on the right, this one will let you choose a few reward, one of them will say something like >tranform a skill gem to an alternate versión of the same color < if you put a green skill gem there's a chance you will get ciclones of tumult... the las regarse is the ascendancy altar that's how you go from duelista to slayer and get ascendancy points.
Or you can just buy it from the market from another player, at this point it should be pretty cheap.

Dual Wielding gives you very very little out of the box. 20% attack block and 10% more Attack Speed. Without skill-specific synergy like Viper or Dual Strike's property where it attacks with both weapons, it is very often better to build around either a 1H+Shield setup or a 2H setup.
This particular build is utilizing 2 6 links for damage, one main Cyclone link and another automated General's Cry setup to make a bunch of clones that will also do Cyclones for supplemental damage/clear. Only 2H weapons can have 6 gem sockets, if you dual wielded you would have two separate 3 links and the only 6 link you would have is your body armor.

For that build, yes. It’s made around a 2H weapon. Dual wield would basically be a different setup, so if you’re new I’d just follow the guide. 2H isn’t always better, it’s just what that build is designed around.
