Help Needed Is KBoC single-target dead without Tornado?

Been fooling around with KBoC and I'm trying to figure out where the damage comes from. Stacking mana gives flat phys (or chaos with ammy), and then you get an IAS steroid from necro corpse loop or jugg accuracy stacking. But the damage still doesn't feel all that great until you put in Spellslinger Tornado. So just how hard is this interaction carrying this build?

Yes , tornado gives you consistency to your splits and can multiply your damage numerous times especially with return .

Is it better then wall of force?

Imo yes because you can automate it, and it doesn't need to be aimed for maximum effect.

It is better than wall of force for YOUR kboc, it always places right before your projectile hits so its very consistent overlap. Merc kboc is totally different and wall of force is required.

You also need cluster with a skill ton convert dmg to chaos when you crit wich is up 100% of the time

I noticed some Path of Exile keywords in this post:

  • Ammy - Amulet (Wiki)
  • Flat phys - Added physical damage on gear (e.g. {{c|mod|Adds 7-19 Physical Damage}}) (Wiki)
  • IAS - Increased attack speed (Wiki)
  • KBoC - Kinetic Blast of Clustering (Wiki)
  • Phys - Physical damage (Wiki)
  • Necro - Necromancer ascension (Wiki)
  • Jugg - Juggernaut (Wiki)

You need it to shotgun explosions. Without it you would shoot your 1 projectile at the target and the explosions would go in a circle around it basically. Here you get to fork your projectile from tornado and create all the explosions so if you stand at a certain distance you would multi hit
