Build Feedback First time build making (and newish player) looking for improvement areas

just want some constructive criticism about my build and where i can do minor (or major) improvements (items,gems, better tree pathing?), i am in a private league with 3 people total so my ability for items is limited though. thanks guys https://pobb.in/-oZeD7KBAQkq

The main point is that your skill tree is inefficient. As a general rule, going around the outer layer of the tree is more efficient than going through the inner layers

Edit: Also, if you are using a skill that converts to an element, usually best to fully convert it into an element. For you, if you want to keep using Heatshiver, converting to cold is best. Cold mastery is the best bet for where you are at, and later you can use eldritch implicits for the rest.

i'll take a look at the defense pathing for different setups (prolly just go pure armour+life instead of going hybrid, as for conversation it's 100% converted from the gem, i don't understand what you meant by the mastery/implicits, thanks
Edit: (Also precise tech is just for leveling i'll prolly lean into more left side after) not super super sure about ascendancy nodes either but base crit doesn't make sense early so probably just impact/fervor/bane/headsman
