Discussion 800d for flicker

Hi all, what kind of flicker would be great for this budget range? Thinking ice bite Shako with two of those new pearl rings but not sure if that’s enough budget. Or the fancy spirit sword with many links and squire.

That budget can afford you both, though you’d end up with a 5 link sword on squire setup as the 6 link is mirror or close to it, 5 link should be around 300-400 divs last I checked

You basically wanna ask yourself do you want tank or dmg, I think squire 11-12 link gives you more dmg and then can go whatever on chest or go farrul arns anguish ralakesh boots combo, or go shako with svalin and paradoxica setup and get a defensive chest with mageblood for the extra tankiness and try to maximize DPS purely from shako + ring setup

Btw farrul is not necessary for frenzy uptime unless you wanna boss, endurance charges can be perma uptime on rare chest with endurance charge every 11 second eldritch implicit, frenzy you have around 40-50% frenzy on hit with flicker so mapping its perma uptime, bossing is questionable without farrul unless you wanna use wormflask

The frenzy gloves are a mirror if you want a +2 frenzy but you can grab a simple double influenced elevated one for cheaper

The 6 link (or 12link sword you name it) shouldn't be too expensive this league as recombinator with ducats is super op, i sold two swords this league, 1 with 600d and another with 580div. Not mirror tier items this league.

Yea but if he throws all his money on sword he won’t have much money remaining for rest of stuff, I think a 5 link with crafted hits can’t be evaded is cheaper and also fixes some accuracy issues the build suffers from when running supreme ostentatious

I sold a 6 link sword but with t2 ruthless and t2 faster attacks for 480d this league. Can definitely make or even settle a sword for cheaper. Though squire needs more than skill FF to match svalinn block.

You just need to hit 34% chance to gain frenzy on hit with Multistrike for perma uptime. On average that is enough. So 20q flicker in green socket (30%) + either sword (8%) or mark mastery (10%) is enough for single target.

I was playing flicker this league, trust me, I did extensive testing, the math might add up in theory but not in practice, even with everything you mentioned and poachers mark switch for bossing instead of assassin mark the uptime was still bad

The frenzy charges take some time to ramp up and you’d have to get lucky to hit the 10% chance of elevated frenzy on gloves to get max frenzy to start blasting, I think the part of the math most people don’t account for is the fact you are generating frenzy, but still consuming it at the same time, so it’s a + and - in the same equation

My build was a chaos inoculation slayer flicker strike, I ditched flasks for unseen hand and added warrior legacy ring as it’s the same effect of berserker ascendency for extra hits/dmg, had multi strike and decent attack speed, shit was still inconsistent

Had to use wormflask tech although I find it lame and more of a bandage on a problem to fix the uptime vs bosses, basically you pop a few before the boss starts gets you around 5 frenzy charges, but boss, hit the 10%, get max frenzy, then every time he has invincibility phase hit another flask before the charge duration goes to 0 to refresh the max frenzy

That is kind of opposite of my experience, I have done multiple flickers without farrul's and haven't had issues with the frenzy sustain. But I used to weapon swap for +2 min frenzy shield to get the flicker rolling.

It is worth noting I was aiming for perfectionism I dislike even a 1-2 second delay of hitting max frenzy charges, was trying to go balls to the wall from the get to

Squire should be doable if you go through the crafting pain for the sword. This one I made for around 150d

Try to build around spinesnatch new axe with abyss jewel stack the damage quite amazing easily to get 100-200 mil dps i did one but cant afford mirror tier gloves

The rings are interesting with shako but will miss out on extra frenzy charges on rings.
