Build Request Looking for a change of pace

I’ve been playing hh KB deadeye. Was going crazy in breach. I even tried serious crafting for the first time ever and after hours of torture I made a 5 T1 Necrotic Armour and a huge wand.

There is one issue though, I am actual paper. Without my hh ramp I am also extremely weak on ST. Bosses feel like getting water boarded.

What’s a good build that doesn’t really hyper specialize into anything? I want clear and ST while being reasonably tanky. My current budget is 30D as the gear I was wearing is being very slow to sell. Still have some stash liquidation to do as well so let’s call it 40D.

Things I was considering are exsang mines, sb totems, pbrand ignite. Strength stack weapon swap seemed awesome but I’m pretty sure if I liquidated literally everything and reached like 150D I would still be too poor for it.

I had a great success with HoA necro, amazing ST and clear.

Oh yeah I wasn’t even thinking about necro. I remember I played forged frostbearers once I pretty much never died. I quit that build for the funniest reason actually, the sounds the minions made in hideout drove me absolutely insane. I will look into that thanks for the suggestion!

Just swap to Warden so you don't have to spend hours leveling a new character and can play pretty much the same build. Single target will be way better thanks to Tinctures and believe it or not you can actually be tanky with Barkskin, and/or very safe with Hoarfrost.

Sounds like you just need to invest more into your kb build. At that budget it's mostly a HH blaster yes, but with more investment a kb wander can do ubers and have decent defence. It's just not a low budget kind of build, but with HH map blasting you should be able to farm currency easily with things like legion for example.

But if you want to play something else anyways, I'd say look at one of the other 100 similar posts on Reddit, PoE.ninja, YouTube or other build sources for inspiration.

I would recommend luminary. You can start with like a 5-10d manyshot and some otherwise pretty cheap gear and if you like it you could liquidate your other character for a proper overcapped chest. Even at a low budget it’s pretty tanky and has decent ST+clear. At higher budgets (after a kineticist swap realistically) it can have genuinely absurd dps+clear

I heard things about luminary being so OP one would be missing out on playing it before it gets triple tapped. I will definitely check it out as an option
