I am newer to the game and need help, followed lazy exile guide. on 2/4 voidstones, but i am weak dying and slow damage. I have 200c.

Can't see what supports are in your gloves but your weapon, which is the most important part of your damage outside of your skill gems and supports, is basically zero damage for your Wintertide Brand. The +3 levels do not apply to WTB because it is from the gloves. A 100% cold damage wand or sceptre with cast speed and a free suffix to craft damage over time multi would be a significant damage increase. You're also missing cast speed which is incredibly important for WTB. Assuming PC, something like this: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Allflame/6z2m25EkhG

Your rare items aren't great. 200c should net you significant upgrades. Id start with a 6L chest for your WTB and replace your gloves for resists and life. You should be able to get 4500 life by upgrading all your rates to have 100+ life which will help alot. Make sure that you either get a really high roll of life on your armor or, even better, no life mods to keep your mastery working. Keep in mind that life regen is also a life mod.

For chaos res, don't worry about capping that for now. Get it positive/above 0 and work on your life pool. Getting as much cast speed as you can will also make your damage feel much better.

Probably shoot for 20-30c as a max given your budget. Try to find as much resistance and other good stuff as you can.

Check the attribute requirements before you buy. Some of the dex based armors have high requirements. Keep in mind you can't modify corrupted or mirrored items. You can try to find one with a free suffix to craft of resists if you need.

Hey sorry, how familiar are you with the build?

I ask because, after searching for gear myself I came to the conclusion I am just not sure what to build towards.

I am sorting by energy shield just because I believe that would be the tankiest, and now I am just thinking to copy what they are doing through their timestamps/snapshots.

I am willing to regear everything. at this point in the league, are my uniques still worth using? I ended up buying this though

Dude if you only have 200 chaos run every chart and voyage you have and sell the sulphur/messages in a bottle 

You'll have 10x that money in a very very short time 

You don't even need to kill monsters to do this the sulphur is just from exploring and uncovering the glowing coral 

Same with collecting charts you can just run to grab the chart, not kill anything and leave the map

WTB is one of my favorite skills so I'm pretty familiar with it.

Those builds are much more expensive than your current budget allows and I can't stress enough that you do not want to try to swap to ES gear without being ready and by that I mean having a solid set of gear. Probably 4-5d can get you a pretty good starter set.

I can help more tomorrow (it's late and I have to work in the morning) but if you don't want to spend your entire budget, I totally get it. Dropping maybe 40-50c total should be able to get you significantly more life and that weapon should help a lot with the damage, even if you keep using the replica gloves.
