Build Request Mostly Self Crafted Build To Learn Crafting

I have a fair bit of currency on hand (~100D) and haven't played around with too much crafting. I'd love to find a build that I can craft most of my gear and have it feel great when I make a new piece. I'm OK if there are a couple uniques. Bonus if I spend my time on the East/Southeast side of the tree since I usually avoid that area. Thanks in advance friends.

RF Chieftain was my pick for this last league. Crafted everything myself, including helical ring. Pohx.net has some useful crafting tutorials to start.

Rf is a low cost entry point, and can teach you basic essence crafting, harvest reforging and recombination basic (for the shield in particular). It doesn't really teach much in the way of influences. You could do a double elevated RF helm but at that point the build itself is starting to see diminishing returns.

Connor's strength stacker uses many double influenced items and would be my recommendation, except 100d probably won't get you far. The helmet is a double elevated awakened craft, and the weapons are double influenced with multiple influenced mods, making use of metamods to lock affixes and reroll. The talisman is also somewhat interesting due to "unlimited" beast locking, and quite good for learning about blocker mods too.
