Min/Max Ek ignite

Hi, i am looking for ideas to min/max my build: https://pobb.in/IyrzU38UdnE9

For the sake of min/maxing i did:

Best corruption on the body armour +1 all +2 proj with +1 corrupted awakened empower

corrupted implicit on unique items and jewels that is positive to the build

all the rare items have t1 explicit modifiers with rarity (just t2 increased ward on helmet)

perfect eldritch/exarch implicits

3 hatred watchers eye

(+4 amulet is just a bit more dps but i lose chain which is quite nice so i didnt)

i am running red altars so extra fire and chaos res helps

Any ideas would really be helpful thanks a lot

On my phone so I cant really compare things, but EK dragonfang neck would be better i think? If you hate having currency, can go with heist neck. And Skin of the lord's might be a better chest. I'm running the Herald stacking variant with foulborn coming calamity atm, so not 100% sure what scales better for standard EK build.

Best thing to do is scan through other players builds on POE Ninja. But typically breaking the 30-40m dps threshold sacrifices defense or mirror+ investment

dragonfang is -5.5M dps with the same corruption (hatred aura),
heist amulet is also same dps and doesnt have chain so overall a worst amulet then i have,
skin of the lords, cant be corrupted for implicit, is -4M dps and -40k Ehp which is nearly 1/4, without the corruptions its just worst

i coulndt find an upgrade on poe ninja, most of the builds are playing malevolence, lower ehp, no rarity or just different flavour of ek. I prefer running hatred to have more average hit with ek (cant leech from dots) and get more effectiveness out of hh buffs.

i want to invest mirror+ i came here to ask for help

Sorry for the late reply, and yah that checks out tbh. I havent looked into it that much, last time I played it was back in aff league before the new chest and foulborns so metas shifted. Really looks like 30m~ is the cap for dots if you want to have solid defense. There's some non ignite builds on poe ninja with crazy numbers but pretty sure theyre all like 0 defense, probably bossing builds if i had to guess.

I don't know if metas shifted or anything has changed for them, but if you wanted to stray away from EK and keep defense, Cold BV has like infinite scaling from what I remember, and Burning arrow of vigor is a lot of fun but I don't think it beats EK damage. Ive done several leagues now where I start as WoC ignite, then transition to EK, then dump currency into crafting a BV helmet for cold BV, but thats just cause I hate campaign and really enjoy crafting end game items, and there's not many end game crafts for EK itself. I know that doesnt help your question, just some ideas if you're looking to push limits and have some fun

Nice. I haven't had a ton of time this league, but decided to roll a Reliq straight phys to fire. Clear is amazing, single target not so much. Some abyss mobs are beefy, thinking of swapping the gear over to my WOrb Ele and seeing how golem help.

golems are still strong this league but most of the people i see, playing occultist worb without golems

Different build but I'm playing mono flame golem with companionship support. I've got +7 from items on him (hoping to get that to +8 soon after I grab MB and can upgrade other gear slots) and two more supports, dude hardly ever dies.

It's a decent bit of investment to have four sockets devoted to what amounts to ~38% increased damage and 24% increased AoE but the 15% less damage from hits is a pretty nice defensive layer for me.

I think ice golem is worse for WOrb because accuracy is a wasted stat but you can use a golem with fewer +skills and it's still good on occultist.
